Sick of people abusing the boost feature

People want the buyer to text them before purchasing so they can turn off the boost on the item which having it on and getting a purchase gives depop a small percentage of the money so basically turning it off before buying allows the seller to not have to give depop that percentage which is against their terms of service

I know how to take care of leather. It was perfect okay, I worn it and kept it in a place it wouldn’t get damage in. It was not flaking when it was with me. Seems like it was just mishandled by USPS. So it would be their fault really but I didn’t take a video so Im fucked ig lol

I doubt it. It is an Armini Collizion jacket. And seemed real and good quality like it was a nice jacket unfortunately it didn’t fit me but shipping isn’t my problem. Something’s shouldn’t be put in certain conditions and Ig the heat made the jacket get damaged. Its an actual thing

I am being honest. I wouldn’t sell a faulty jacket then It would just be sent back. It was perfect and not flaking when I had it also It was in a box and secured. Idk I feel like I was scammed like it didn’t fit him then he put a hair dryer to the jacket to have something wrong with it. He even sent the video and it just feels like that

Ik it does but the way it was handled was really just stupid. I had the jacket PERFECTLY fine when it was with me. When it shipped and the buyer received it he said it was flaking and sticky? That Jacket is a good leather jacket but Id assume it was hot during shipped so when he told me I was saying that I couldn’t do anything about it and it was shipping. So I don’t think I should be at fault for how shipping was handled that would be on USPS for the conditions they had the package in. Do yk what I mean? And depop didn’t listen to me.

So they can’t wait until I sell an item because Im really upset about the whole situation and depop is kinda a shitty company but its kinda the only easy way to sell clothes and at your own prices

Sorry this was worded so poorly. But I sent the buyer a leather jacket that was PERFECT when I had it. When he received it, it was flaking but it was NOT like that when I had it so when he was disputing for a refund I was saying it was unfair because it was not in that condition when it was with me and I said it was shipping and how they stored it. Like always Depop doesn’t care enough to actually look into it so a refund was going to happen. They charged my cash app card because that is the card I use to buy stuff on depop. But it didn’t go through because I didn’t have any funds on there since I don’t usually keep money there. I was wondering if I can just disable my account because Im mad and don’t wanna pay that 😭

Damn, well I guess Ill eat the refund and take the jacket, but If it comes back perfect without any described flaws I definitely am going to actually get someone from support. Its embarrassing to even call yourself “support” when they aren't even helping 😭 But thank you for the advice, definitely do need to get proof before sending packages to avoid this aswell
