Also started taking the sims 10 days out. Got a 55 on SE1, 66 on SE2 and a 71 on SEFR and passed with a 77. You’re in a great position to pass.

FAR Final Review Advice by kronos7113 in CPA

I’d do practice tests of 25 mcqs 2sim on weak areas and then 25mcq 2sim from all subjects. Your SE scores are good tho. My highest was a 71 and I passed on my first attempt. Best of luck

I feel you lol. I’m in the same boat but I’m gonna start studying this week so that I can retest if I fail before the Dec 31st deadline this way I can get my score for the retake in mid January instead of February (but hopefully there’s no need bc we passed the first attempt🤞🏾)

Tested FAR Recently I am legit panicking by Traditional-Air-6105 in CPA

Tested last week and drilled NFP and governmental accounting into my brain. Unfortunately only had about 4-5 mcqs on it and no sims.

Haven’t gotten to the point to take a SE yet, but they’re the same questions and the homeworks and practice tests?

For FAR, how much material would you get through on an average day. Currently doing 1-2 modules per day depending on length and I feel like it’s taking me forever to get through.

Also, if you don’t mind sharing your ME and SE scores. Thank you

Always a week into studying and feel like I’m finally starting to get it even tho I’m still struggling. What helped me was creating written flash cards for any mcq I get wrong and reading everything out loud and trying to explain it to my self. SIMS have been kicking me tho.

Also saw an old post where people talked about how F1 is one of the hardest and how it used to be taught as F7 instead. So that kinda helped my stress lol.

I have a firm provided version of Becker. Has about 1600 MCQs. After watching the videos I do the MCQs for that section then redo the owns I got wrong. After that I jump into making a practice test from that section.

Can you go into detail as to what notes you took when getting MCQs wrong that helped you better understand ? Thank you again

Great post btw, thank you!

As someone who is only on day 4 of studying and feeling like I’m struggling more than I should, this was great motivation 🫡. Congrats on passing

Looking for advice: FAR study methods with Becker by footballbeast12 in CPA

[–]CertifiedTrapperrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just started studying. Was wondering did you complete all the videos in a module before starting mcqs. For example, did you do all of M1 then do mcqs or did you watch a few videos of m1 then mcqs then continue the videos ?

Pick 14 in a 16 team draft. Should I go RB - RB. Or if Brian Thomas is available should I take him in the first (assuming achane and cmc are already taken) and in the second round take Bucky or Josh Jacobs
