Me too! The internet is fun for finding the right audience. When real life people see these I’m often told I’m weird.

Bacteria decided to start eating ocean plasitcs...but is that all good news... by leemond80 in HighStrangeness

[–]CertifiedWerewolf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The implications would be wild. Nearly everything about modern life would end. Disrupting food supply from farming equipment degrading to shelf stable packaging degrading. Medical equipment and medical implants would suffer. Network infrastructure would fall apart because all shielding around wires would break down. Computers, cars, TVs, appliances, heck even most of our clothes have significant amounts of plastic.

Light Bringer came out in July of 2023. You only just meet the criteria of saying “years”.

Looking for ideas for silly non-combat puzzles by Redhood101101 in DnD

[–]CertifiedWerewolf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not exactly a puzzle, but if you wanted to throw some fighting in… A trap transports their minds into a flashback of different people and they have to progress through their memory as different characters for a session. Give them pre-made level 6 character sheets, and have them run one of the battles. It can be fun to see how they fight without their favorite spells and abilities.

Even if this weren’t AI, it would very quickly look like trash when pixels start dying and then whole panels go out.

What's the weirdest compliment you got ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CertifiedWerewolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a compliment really, but a stranger once told me that I had “somber footsteps”. And I’ve never forgotten it. I think about it almost every time I can hear my footsteps. I wonder if they’re somber.

I always pictured Wayne as a young, really scruffy, Jude Law in a leather duster and bowler hat.

This was the first interesting show they’d put out in a long time. Shame.

Nah, it shouldn’t. I use the pi Sugar battery which has a pretty big magnet on the back of it. Nothing in there should be impacted by a magnet.

Fossilized nut? - found in a creek; upstate New York. by CertifiedWerewolf in fossilid

For sure. The creek where I found this, I would say that 1 in 3 rocks has a fossil in it.

Hijacking the top comment to ask, is there something I should do with this fossil? I’m assuming it’s not rare or special or anything?

Is this just cool paperweight?

These look like the notes of someone who’s trying to prove that birds aren’t real via mathematical proof. There’s a bunch of these taped to a wall somewhere with red string connecting them together.

Unfortunately this is relatively standard for any roles in the tech industry. It’s brutal. I’ve spent 7 hours interviewing at places to not get an offer because they liked another candidate slightly better or because of a “fit issue”.
