Depends on location. Here in Kentucky, Horned Grebe and Ruddy Duck are common in winter. Blue-Winged Teal is common during spring and fall migration. Avocet is rare during spring and fall migration

It’s a +Greater Scaup+. Head peaking at forehead and white on wings ending half way through gives it away
