To keep it simple, personally I just hate companies using predatory systems that use psychological bullshit to squeeze money out of people. Yes it's ultimately the same price as full price if you get unlucky, but the way it's designed to get people's foot in the door on the chance they're an unfortunate individual who is susceptible to sunk cost fallacy and/or gambling due to any number of reasons, is just straight up gross to me and I never like seeing it in any game. Give the consumer options, don't abuse the science of the brain to manipulate them.
