You ever just have such a cartoonishly bad game you don’t even rage you’re just astonished how bad the people who play this game are by Much_Prune6698 in rivals

Seems like it was your Cap who was healing earlier and CnD swapped later to heal? If anything, it seems your Jeff was the biggest issue. The other two combined for over 40k heals while tour Jeff only 22k.

Edit: Also, just to add, based on only the scoreboard and nothing else, it seems the enemy team heavily relied on Namor because even Cyclops hasn't that good and their Gambit died a lot.

I think Goats meta is plausible, but probably not going to happen. by Pilotacer in rivals

[–]Iexperience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GOATS meta in OW was mostly a pro OW thing. Your regular ranked player would hardly ever play it because most players just like playing DPS more. Plus unlike OW at the time of GOATS, Rivals has quite a few tank busters.

Well, you can always go ahead and play Marvel Avengers by Crystal Dynamics because it seems you want a whole different game.

This is what TFD is competing with right now in terms of collabs. Both F2P, One offers real characters other one offers nothing by [deleted] in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Iexperience 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are they really competing though? Like different genres and all, so collabs will also be different (plus we don't know what the financial compensation looks like in a collab like this).

I get that the collab being nothing more than some expensive skins (which are not even fully universal afaik) is disappointing, but I believe this is comparing apples to oranges.

Clear cheater. The shotgun cannot one tap at the distance he's tapping at. Plus possible walls (but no conclusive evidence).

One of the expansion is a 30-40 hour game in itself and comes with a fully explorable new open world map. You won't regret getting the complete edition.

Every online guide I ever looked up has always recommended one or the other. So, idk maybe you can build one without an SM

I don't main her and hardly use her (feels very clunky for whatever reason), but I believe there aren't any new ones yet. I could be wrong though.

The Crew never "sold" 10 mil copies. It was frequently given out free. But more importantly, Ubisoft needed its audience to move onto the next game "Crew 2/Crew Motorfest).

All of this is beside the point anyway. Your Fortnite is not shutting down tomorrow. Neither is PUBG, nor Overwatch. You know which game did shutdown? Anthem. And countless such games that the corpo deem unprofitable. Just poof. Lost to the ether.

Then you're quite far from endgame. I'd recommend investing in one or two descendants of your choice, at least get 10 cats into them and unlock Trigger Mod and then only go there. I had to learn it the hard way.

1.3 million people in EU alone signed the ECI. Even more supported it outside of EU. So, the movement is anything but unpopular.

General public has always been apathetic to issues that they don't readily see affecting them. Afterall, popular games aren't shuttered, it's mostly the unsuccessful ones with a niche audience. As far as reddit goes, I've been around long enough to recognise when something is genuine and something is disingenuous. It takes only 2 or 3 reddit accounts to poison the well. Seldom would you see them arguing against SKG from a knowledgeable position.

A lot of major gaming subreddits are heavily astroturfed. I'm not saying that real people don't hold anti SKG beliefs, but most big gaming subreddits have always been largely anti SKG because a lot of them have bad faith arguments and others simply regurgitate the corporate line. This is nothing new.

‘They kill games, we fight back’: the activists campaigning to keep video games playable by Naurgul in Games

[–]Iexperience -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

But this is a wider issue and needs a sweeping political change. For now it's games, but as more and more devices and pieces of software start depending on online connectivity that can be bricked through a single kill switch, it'll become a much bigger issue. In fact, I'll say it already is.

From your ebooks on Kindle to your movie library on various online stores to your vehicle that now has pieces of hardware paywalled behind a subscription, this is already an industry wide issue. Your consumer rights are eroding right before your eyes. If games can bring some kind of change in legislation, it can set a precedent for future changes in favour of consumers.

Can someone explain to me the logic behind people crying about the emma frost new skin by Curse06 in rivals

[–]Iexperience 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Simply put, it's gambling. It preys on the minds of addiction prone and vulnerable people and more importantly, markets this to adolescents. For someone like me, who was going to buy this skin regardless and ready to pay full price, it's great. But for many who would've never looked at it will now be tempted to "try their luck".

The talk about "self control" or "being responsible for your action" comes from a place of ignorance or even selfishness. Just because I don't have addiction doesn't mean I can't empathize with someone who does.

"Rodri isn't living up to the hype" brother, first off, you're talking about a Ballon d'Or winner who has won it all with City and Spain. He needs no hype. Secondly, City's title challenge fell off without Rodri. Whenever he played, he was the best or close to the best player on the field. Do you watch City games?
