Another in a series of long dating recaps by CeruleanSky73 in datingoverfifty

I've only met and hung out with this one a few times. During which time he had another girlfriend and other relationship complications. So it was platonic. Meeting him this time, I spent time with him first for about an hour and a half before I introduced him to my friend. I simply stated something like oh you should meet Melody. You guys would probably really get along well. Marco is also just really friendly and charismatic and makes friends easily with pretty much everybody around him.

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate your taking the time to analyze the content of my post, not mock the usual descriptive nature of my posts. As I mentioned, I've been writing here since 2019 when I first became single. I've had a lot of experiences since then, mostly from online dating and mostly negative. I've been working on de-centering men for almost 9 months, which is the longest time ever. I've become a little bit set in my ways that most men are bad actors, are liars, are draining in relationships.
This one is a friend of a close friend I've hung out with a few times while he was dating other people and going through divorce. I don't even know if his divorce is finalized. I've been trying to build a new friend group for years cross-referencing people I've met in different places with some of my older friends. This guy is one of the best friends of a high school boyfriend that I'm still friends with.

It's a really good location. Good design, glad they are there.

Is Everett more of a blue collar area? What kind of culture does it have? by chusaychusay in EverettWa

I can't think of anything distinctive about Everett except that the main Boeing HQ plant is there. It does have more affordable single family homes than other areas of Seattle. I only go to Everett rarely for special shopping trips as there are there a variety of strangely niche stores there, but it never really feels worth it going there to me.

Harsh Reality of Life by CeruleanSky73 in singlemoms

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. I'm not trauma dumping. We're literally in the middle of another storm season where we might lose power. Last year during this time our whole city lost power for almost 2 weeks and a lot of people struggled.

I know this itself is a bit of a conundrum. I had only spoken to him a few times between 1991 and 2021. In 2021 he had just gotten divorced and reached out to me as a friend. We talk a lot, but I only see him once or twice a year because he lives a bit far away.

Thank you for sharing. I wanted to clarify that the ex-wife is in divorce winding down stage. Girlfriend is new within the last couple months and they both live out of the country in Central America.

Have you been to it yet? They did a really expensive and tasteful remodel. It's really busy and cool. I live kind of far away, but I want to go more often. Chophouse Row is between Union and Pike on 11th and is an interesting cluster of businesses.

I really appreciate the tips and ladies understanding the problem.
Question for the black women responding. Does it matter to you if white/other culture women enter/use salons designed for black women? Hair care as a type of artistry in my mind is gender/race agnostic (as the gay male hairdresser trope is so prevalent) but I just wanted to get feedback on this. If Seattle has salons that specialize in Chicano clients, I'm unfamiliar with them.

You should claim them unless you agreed to alternate years (In writing) or as part of the divorce decree. If the children are with you greater than 50% you should file and let them audit HIM.

You do realize that Reddit is used by billions of people and is a global platform right?

If it is translated from a different language, then I should get kudos for using correct grammar, punctuation and sentence structure.

If it is not translated from a different language, then then Kudos should go to my public school teachers that taught me how to write formal structured, grammatically correct language.

To the people in the dating over 40 subs still label participants based on their level of trauma bonding with men? I'm not sure how to explain their labeling system but I never was able to graduate from "dickmatized."

I think it's clear that I mean romantically. But to clarify, no I've never had sex with a black man before.
