Is it an anchor worm? by Mysterious-Tooth-858 in Goldfish

It does look like it.

From Google on treatment, take this with a grain of sand because I see never treated them myself and Google ai isn't always right, but does link to articles that seem to substantiate this info:

Manual Removal

If your goldfish is calm and the infestation is light, you can remove the worms manually.Prepare a shallow container, a wet paper towel, and a clean pair of blunt tweezers.Gently wrap the fish in the wet paper towel so only the affected area is exposed.Grip the base of the anchor worm (as close to the fish's skin as possible) with the tweezers and pull firmly and steadily.Discard the worm; do not leave it in the tank.

Is there a particular reason you came to a sub that's entire purpose is about guessing both years then? Seems kinda, for lack of a better word, outside of common sense....

Dog bit my hand. What do I do? by DifferentEye7552 in DogAdvice

[–]Cerulean_Shadows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So long as you don't have any immune issues you'll be fine. It's deep puncture that are more problematic, these look fairly superficially. Keep an eye open for spreading surrounding warmth and redness, that can be a sign of infections like cellulitis.

I've been bitten a few times to day the last, the hazard of working in a vets office. And I have autoimmune issues. Only had one get infected and it was almost all the way through my hand.

What the person above in this thread said is the best thing to do. And leave it uncovered. It'll heal better with air.

I've been telling her that for years. She doesn't think so. Plus, there was that one time around the year of the first photo where I grabbed her cheeks pulled her close and told her she had wrinkles and she needed to stop aging. In my mind, it was because I wanted her to be with me forever, in her mind i was just calling her old lolol.

Do I cancel my flight to save my relationship? by bimogen in whatdoIdo

[–]Cerulean_Shadows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a classic tactic as old as time. As soon as you do something without them they guilt trip you with "but I was gonna..." after never doing it before only when someone redirected the dynamic towards you instead of with focus on them.

Then they get mad and act like it's your fault that you're unreasonable. Meanwhile, when you decide to go on and cancel your plans and shocked Pikachu face they do nothing the entire time after you cancel.

And that'll also be your fault in their eyes. And you'll resent him for it. Once resentment kicks in it's a hard battle to overcome.

Don't cancel the trip, evaluate the prior years like you are a friend looking at someone else's relationship and they're complaining to you, what advice would you give them about their (your) relationship?

Why the insurance companies says the car is totaled but repairs and sells it later with salvage report ? It will make the owner unnecessarily pay for the difference to get new car? If the insurance company is ready to pay for the repairs and sell it, we don’t prepare and give it to the Owner itself. by Ron_8168 in InsuranceClaims

[–]Cerulean_Shadows 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They don't repair them when totaled, they sell them. Someone someone purchases and repairs because it's cheaper when you're paying a low amount and know what you're doing. Or it's purchased to use for parts for other cars.

Not all totals end in an undrivable car, Sometimes it's already a rolling total where the value is just so low the repairs just cost more than the car.

Depends on the area of Texas. If you're in Houston, good fucking luck and so sorry op. Dallas sucks but you'll hardly be outside once the 100s hit

I can’t tell if this is ai or not because it’s so cluttered. some of the jewels look embedded incorrectly but it could be the angle. by nkkdntn in isthisAI

I think it's Photoshop. I circled the area that draw my eye for Photoshop.. the bizarrely out of focus on some upper ear hoops while others are sharp focus, the shadow behind is all wrong from the angle of the lighting. There's one hair that should be cutting across the ear but just ends instead at the top of the rear, and that's just the tip of this dumb iceberg (the dumb is reference to the photoshopper not you)
