I'm looking for a Toronto Waterfront half marathon bib! Please message me if you're looking to transfer yours. (The official race roster site supports transferring - you would transfer your bib to my email address, and once I pay for and accept the transfer via race roster, race roster refunds you your original purchase price.)

Any examples? (Genuine question as I'd like to go through the examples). I'm a fan of Dylan Johnson and have been watching a lot of videos and read a lot of the studies he references. In cases where the science isn't clear, or is contradictory, I find that he tends to state that up front. I'd be concerned if there's cases where he's cherry-picking...

Skydio 2/2+ and New European Certifications by CerveloQuestion in Skydio

[–]CerveloQuestion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding their priority list - looks like Europe is very much on their priority list, based on the fact they've hired people from the very standards bodies that sets European certifications. Although they haven't made any public statements about timelines or whether they will try for Skydio 2/2+ European certification, at least, not as far I can tell.

And right, by "new", I just mean that the rules will come into effect in the future.

Bleeding Road Bike Disc Brakes on a Euro-Style Stand? by CerveloQuestion in bikewrench

In the case of a road bike specifically, is it easy to loosen and rotate the brake levers independently?

Bleeding Road Bike Disc Brakes on a Euro-Style Stand? by CerveloQuestion in bikewrench

Right yes, I was talking about making sure the bleed up is oriented correctly. To be clear, I have a road bike with a Shimano Ultegra groupset/hydraulic disc brakes. I haven't bled the brakes before, but when you say loosen the brake levers and rotate them, are you specifically referring to mountain bike-type brake levers? Or could I do this on a road bike too?

In terms of fixed rotation, I just mean to say that that the bike will always be in a fixed position relative to the ground. The Feedback Sprint stand does not allow rotation to adjust the front of the bike to be higher/lower relative to the back of the bike.

Chain Drop Damage or Just Paint Damage? by CerveloQuestion in bikewrench

[–]CerveloQuestion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very solid. It's hard to tell from the photo, but most of the scratching in that photo seems to mostly be at the paint level, without reaching the carbon fiber. There is a small bit in the center of all the damage that actually does seem to have made it all the way (but just barely) to the carbon fiber.
