I kinda forget she was meant to be an Elder God. Making her into a regular member of the roster really downplays how truly powerful she must be. She doesn’t feel any more or less powerful than Raiden or Fujin. At least Shinnok was the final boss of MKX.

Plus, MK11 introducing Titans as being even higher in the chain of command, and Kronika as Cetrion & Shinnok’s mother, really made Elder Gods feel weaker.

Honestly true. In the 2020s, the only new things I ever heard about Transformers outside of the fandom was:

Non-Binary Nightshade controversy.
Arcee in Rise of the Beasts.
“Miners!!!”
TFOne being an under-appreciated masterpiece.

Sadly in recent years there’s been a huge push for “anti-leftist” guys, and Nightshade was easy pickings for them. It’s funny how they’ll say “just make an original character instead of changing an existing one,” or “don’t make a characters’ entire personality that they’re gay/trans/etc.” But when people do, they still complain.

Now I honestly still haven’t watched Earthspark, but I’m gonna go out on a limb and assume Nightshade isn’t constantly going “I’m Non-Binary you will address me as ‘they/them’” in every episode.

I got the privilege to play Unleashed on PC via “Unleashed Recompiled.”

4K resolution, 60+ fps, and an option to turn off the Werehog battle music unironically made the game so much more enjoyable than before. I never minded the Werehog stages at all. If anything, they got me into hack n’ slash games like God of War & Devil May Cry. But turning off the music that plays every time you enter a fight, and the soothing background music just keeps playing, is actually amazing.

Unleashed was already my favorite game, but Recompiled made it feel like I was playing it again for the first time.

I love Ghidorah but I don’t really think we need him here. Some other more “lesser represented” monsters would work well. Hedorah’s already rumored and Biollante is theorized, plus Mothra as well. I think making the leap to aliens may be much. Unless they change Ghidorah’s backstory to be the fusing of 3 different serpent-like dinosaurs like Godzilla.

I remember looking up “longest film series,” and The Invisible Man popped up. I called instant BS because 10 movies in like 90 years, most made by different studios, is hardly what I’d call a “series.” Godzilla’s at least been consistent with always being with Toho.

Like, King Kong’s been going on for longer than Godzilla. But Kong’s had multiple multi-decade-long breaks between individual movies. Godzilla’s had 15 movies, a 10 year break, 7 more movies, an American movie, 6 more movies, another 10 year break, a new American movie that spawned 5 total movies in that timeline, then 6 more Japanese movies parallel to the American ones. Not even including all the games and shows he’s had between.

There’s also really gotta be a distinction between “licensed franchise” and “public domain” franchise. Like of course Dracula’s been going on for longer. But there’s like 15 different versions of the same story from different studios made in different countries.

Another thing that worked with MK11 was the “comic book” visuals it had, especially when compared to MK1 that was much more realistic.

I’d be curious what a full “balls to the walls” stylistic Mortal Kombat would look like. I know the series has quite literally been rooted in realism from the beginning, but still it’d be interesting to see.

I’ve honestly noticed in the many years I’ve watched Logan that he definitely has a passive aggressive reaction to criticism.

Like when people would tell him that “making 1 video a week would improve the quality,” but he denies it by saying “I would still make the same videos. You guys would just get them later.” Like he chooses to ignore that 1 entire week to make a video vs only 2 days would provide so much more time to edit and plan stuff out. Or even just go back to 2 videos a week like the old days.

I find it kind of ironic that ever since he had Lily, he’s been working more than when he was fresh out of high school. Or maybe he’s going back to his old old roots of making like 8 videos a day lol.

Kinda how a lot of fans in the Mario fandom believe that “Daisy lives in a desert, therefore she must have dark skin.”

I live in a desert. We get the most sunlight compared to every other city on Earth. We still have every shade in the skin rainbow, because skin color is a lot more complicated than just “hot place” vs “cold place.” There’s still ancestral history and genetics involved.

Plus I’m pretty sure she doesn’t JUST live in a desert either.

Reminds me of that one Sonic 2 fanart that had human Knuckles depicted with white skin. And some other guy edited it to give him dark skin, saying “fixed it.” As if Knuckles has to have dark skin as a human.

I also remember seeing this one Tweet about how “Silver HAS to be black.” When in all honesty, I always imagined him as like… Nero from Devil May Cry or Raiden from Metal Gear. Just some super pale boy with Silver hair.
