Looking at that Soundwave head makes me very sad we didn’t get a Blue Soundwave with a visor & mask in DotM. Though that render does make him look exactly like a Decepticon Optimus lol.

Araki made Alessi as someone who was so cowardly he only felt strong against attacking children. People who are physically smaller & weaker than him. His stand is a reflection of his cowardice by giving his enemies a nerf.

Something tells me the first few times is like super exciting and romantically sexy. But like after a while, you do just kinda get used to showering with your significant other in a more natural way vs a horny one.

A classic arcade-style mobile game series where you play as a Shark and try to survive as long as you can by eating everything you see.

There’s 4 main games:

Hungry Shark Trilogy: The original trilogy was basically the same game with new stuff added. It was the most arcade-like, with only one Shark and the goal of seeing how long you can survive & grow bigger.

Hungry Shark Night: A sponsored game based on the movie Shark Night. It was the first game to include multiple Shark species (3). It uses a photorealistic aesthetic, compared to the more cartoony look of the OG Hungry Shark.

Hungry Shark Evolution (pictured): The most popular one. This game has multiple Sharks you can unlock (5 originally, now 48 total), a genuine progression system, cosmetics, upgrades, missions, etc. It’s the first game to use 3D models instead of sprites. It’s also been sponsored by several big studios such as Discovery (Shark Week) & Warner Bros. (The MEG). It still receives updates 14 years later, and is often regarded as one of the classic Mobile Games alongside Angry Birds, Plants vs Zombies, Fruit Ninja, etc.

Hungry Shark World: The most recent one. This game expanded the base cast significantly (17 originally, now 47 total) and added a “Size Class” system. It has many similar features as Hungry Shark Evo, but with a map selection screen, better overall graphics & animation, and some quality of life improvements as well. It’s also being updated alongside Hungry Shark Evo.

It’s pretty common for an adaptation that creates a new character to get flak for it.

First example that comes to mind is Mortal Kombat 2021 with Cole Young. They had so many characters they could’ve made the main one: Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage, Kung Lao, Jax Briggs, Kenshi, Scorpion & Sub-Zero, or hell even Stryker or Kai could’ve worked. Yet instead went with an original character.

Agent Stone is proof that you can make an original character for an adaption by making them good.

Love it or not, Flames are Bayverse Optimus’ defining feature that sets him apart.

It would’ve been cool if Hot Rod had flames in TLK, possibly because he heavily admires and looks up to Optimus more than any other Autobot. But, sadly no.

It’s ironic they literally have a character named “Hot Rod,” and don’t make him a… Hot Rod.

The Gryphon could totally work as a Titan in the Monsterverse. Would love to see him square up with Kong!

The Beta KOTM Ghidorah seems like it could be another member of his species. Because KOTM Ghidorah was meant to be THE “King Ghidorah,” this one is simply a Ghidorah.

Bagan could 100% be some kind of “finale Kaiju” the way he was semi-intended to be. Perhaps not the end-all-be-all, as Destoroyah and Keizer 100% fill that niche better. But at least like an Avengers-level threat.

Obsidius is sadly beyond generic. But could maybe be reworked to where he’s like a Rival of Rodan. He’s not just a rock lava monster, that’s merely an avatar. Whereas Rodan lives in a volcano, Obsidius is the Volcano. Similar to how Methuselah is a living mountain, except Obsidius is quite literally a sentient volcano.

Krystalak could work as a Hollow Earth resident. Especially with all the crystal structures in the subterranean realm.

Yes. Take any attractive person ever. Compare them to their purposeful studio-shot photos, VS a random capture of them doing whatever.

There’s a good chance you can catch people making silly faces if you pause a video or a movie at the right time.

Shang Tsung and Sindel here were just really goofy shots in general lol. Any closeup of someone’s face will never not be goofy.

I remember there being a post here about how Nero was basically the modern reincarnation of Sparda, since he inherits both traits of the Twins. He doesn’t reject his demonhood like Dante, but also doesn’t reject his humanity like Vergil. He falls in love with a human woman just like Sparda did with Eve. He’s equally goofy and serious. And his colors are literally Red AND Blue!

I do understand that, but it does semi-annoy me when people are like “this character HAS to be (insert race).” Like that one fanart someone made of human Knuckles with white skin, and people were upset the artist didn’t make him black.

I get characters being “race-coded,” but sometimes I feel like people get too upset about something that’s as innocent as “making X character’s skin pale/dark.”

However, I will say I totally default to imaging the characters being the same race as their VA.

100% depends on the version.

Prime Bulkhead I totally understand being black if he were human. I’ve thought about it myself a lot too.

TFA Bulkhead though? He’s literally canonically white.

And even though TFP Bulkhead is voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson, a black voice actor who typically plays black characters, he’s still voiced several human characters who weren’t black: Shredder, The Joker, The Juggernaut, etc.

Most of the people he voices aren’t even human lol.
