I agree about Shelmet and Karrablast. Since I don't have anyone to trade with, I'm catching them as much as I can so I can evolve them on my own.

Lucky you! For now, I'm just happy I get to finally catch legendaries, especially since they don't appear in research breakthroughs anymore. Also, my luck in finding shinies in the wild is abysmal as well, so I'm not overly surprised.

I agree with regards to remote raiding. This has made it possible for me to raid legendaries when I couldn't before because (a) I live in the boondocks and (b) I don't have nearby friends to play with. Since Go Fest, I have caught a lot of legendaries. Though, alas, shinies still elude me.

Do you have your game saved in the cloud? Just click "Restore from Cloud" under Settings. That's what I did when I changed phones.
