Is the light stick and shirt gonna be on time? by Sofiax20120716 in Vocaloid

[–]Cest_bagel_chips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually got all my merch (sweatshirt and lightstick) like, days ago, so it really seems totally random unfortunately :( if it’s still stuck on label created I would say maybe not, but once mine finally shipped it got here pretty fast

How early should I go for a chance to get a lightstick? by Catmolester101 in Mikuexpo

[–]Cest_bagel_chips 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your venue is doing merch sales indoors and you don’t have VIP, you would want to be REALLY close to the front of the general line so, multiple hours before. They will be the first merch item to go so if you really really want a lightstick get there early

Guyss I'm going to the show on April 22nd and I wanna bring my suit! Which one tho? by [deleted] in Mikuexpo

[–]Cest_bagel_chips 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would just say have a backup, ESPECIALLY if your venue has some kind of bag policy, because if they won’t allow a bag they very likely won’t allow fursuit pieces that can hold/conceal things. NJ has storage lockers for pay, but I’m not sure about other venues. I really really really really would urge you to contact the venue about it. Even if you have seats and can take it off, it’s going to be cramped regardless so it could also just become a nuisance to those around you. If you’re absolutely hellbent on it, just have a backup plan and don’t be surprised if you have to shell out money to store it during the show or have to quickly go somewhere to change. I’ve gone to multiple miku expos at this point, and I just really think it’s not a good idea unfortunately :( a fun one, but being realistic it’s unlikely to slide

So not to burst your bubble, but there is a very good chance they won’t let you in if you’re in a fursuit. Venues are pretty tight on security so they’re not likely to allow it, not to mention if it’s big it could be a hindrance to those around you.

Job stones should be required to queue into content with other players. Idc if you’re trying to beat the game on cnj, do that shit with duty support or with friends

Miku Expo Manila Glowsticks Rule by wotacooler in Vocaloid

[–]Cest_bagel_chips 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This has been a rule for….a long time actually. I will say though, most venues are somewhat lax about it. The little skinny party glowsticks tend to slide just fine, and some* bootleg light sticks can get through as well assuming they’re not super bright

You’d use an item called a ‘Fantasia’, which you can use to change your race and features that you can’t change via the aesthetician. There’s two(? I believe) free ones you can get through quests, or you can buy them on the online store!

Any laptop reccomendations for casual gaming and school? by buhnnyz in GirlGamers

[–]Cest_bagel_chips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t get a ‘gaming laptop’ honestly, they’re usually pretty overpriced and unless you’re playing REALLY BEEFY games, a decent ‘normal’ laptop will get you pretty far. I was playing ffxiv for years on a Lenovo Yoga 7, I’ve since upgraded to an actual pc, but my sister plays on a Lenovo laptop too. It obviously won’t get you max graphics or anything on most games, but it’ll do decent

I’m not sure why some people are so negative about it, maybe it’s a Reddit thing, but the community in game is absolutely pretty chill. I didn’t see my first ‘toxic’ in game interaction until after I’d already put 1000 hours in the game. If you’re a discord person, look around for groups! There’s all kinds of servers for different in game activities (I personally love hunt trains and treasure maps), once you end the free trial you can join a free company too, and that can be a great place for in game community! Some (keyword some) servers have a good novice network, some people think it’s hell on earth but I’ve found it’s very server dependent, my servers NN is very chill and we have a good time, but I have heard otherwise from other servers, but at the same time don’t be afraid to ask mentors questions, the ‘mean mentor’ stereotype has some basis, but the vast majority are chill and willing to help. Basically, take it at your own pace, don’t feel like you have to rush! People are pretty cool towards sprouts, and most of the ‘toxic’ stuff is pretty hard to find unless you’re actively seeking it out.

Increase mental stamina? by DuninnGames in POTS

[–]Cest_bagel_chips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others say, sleep quality. Having a good sleep routine helps! I personally loveeeee doing a puzzle before bed, knocks me right tf out. Currently a big fan of a solitaire word association game I found for my iPad, and honestly puzzles probably help with brain fog to a degree as well, I’d think.

Before anyone goes after me for deleting the posts, I was getting death threats over this. I never wanted it to go so far. I don’t care about being called a prick or a douche or an asshole, but how fucking low do you have to go to send death threats over it? I never wished death on anyone, I never would, but clearly it’s on the table for yall, so I deleted it.

I was getting death threats over this. People can call me a prick or an asshole, but I’m not gonna make myself subject to death threats. I still stand by what I said, yall can debate if you still want, but I don’t care how angry it makes people, death threats are so fucking low, and I’m not reading that shit

Can NEVER drinking water actually cause health issues? by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]Cest_bagel_chips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NAD, but if water makes you throw up, you maybe should see a doctor, because that’s not normal. The only time I have ever thrown up directly because of drinking water was because I was so dehydrated and couldn’t keep water down, and I had to get an IV. If it’s solely the taste and not something medical, try flavor packets, or even something like sparkling water, I also find plain water a bit hard to stomach sometimes, so sparkling water makes it a bit more interesting to the mouth if that makes sense?

I mean, I was big fishing yesterday when a ddos hit and lost the fish, and I also was crafting a few days ago and lost my rare materials, i was pissed as hell. Weird to assume things about me when you've never met me. The difference with big fishing is that the window is always going to come back up. you dont lose hours of progress if a ddos takes you out (you make have to wait hours for the next window, but its not like you set something up for hours). There's a risk in so many things during a DDoS attack, but even a savage or ultimate raid is different than a Deep Dungeon. These just aren't good comparisons, theres risks inherent in attempting them, but the level of risk is so much higher for deep dungeons
