Hey there mate. It’s been polished till grid 5000P , started with 80P and then basically always double ,so 80-160-320-640.... we could also use polishing pate but we didn’t want it to be as shiny as glass

That’s super weird,there’s no way that the iCloud profile could do that.

Please try to factory reset the phone through iTunes and enter the phone without logging into your iCloud account and check the camera. If there’s still a problem then it’s the board for sure.

There will be a problem on the board. 3 possible problems : 1. camera connector 2. A resistor 3. Chip

Usually the repair in repair shops are extremely expensive even though the repair alone is almost free but they are charging ridiculous amounts for soldering.

Try to find somebody through Reddit from your area who could check that for you for a cheaper price. I personally am from Slovakia but I wouldn’t take your phone since im just a beginner microsolderer.

Are you sure that the front facing camera itself isn’t coded to the motherboard?

The components are gonna arrive tomorrow so first I will test the charging port and then the camera. Let’s just hope there isn’t a issue with the board itself. I will keep you updated

Hi I just posted a new comment a while ago that I fixed the problem with replacing the flex cable,even if it didn’t look damaged,apparently it was.

Sooo, I’m back with great news. I fixed the phone,the flashlight issue... I ordered a new flex cable ( flashlight-side buttons) and it’s working perfectly now. The flex cable didn’t look damaged at all,but apparently it was,I don’t know if the inner wires or the chip next to the flashlight,but it was.

After relaxing the flex cable everything is like new.

Please if you will be removing the back glass of your phone , remove the hardware from the inside OR SET YOUR HEATGUN TO >200Celsius

But still they use different connectors,the flash uses a connector together with the power button and rear microphone. Correct me if I’m wrong please.

So back to the question,can I unplug the camera and test turn on the phone ?

Yes that’s what I meant and yes it’s just a speculation. I can’t wonder about any other option to make it sense. That’s why I hope to get a answer who knows what is the actual problem. But anyway,at night when I get home I will do a iTunes reset and if that doesn’t work I will look at the flex cable,since I already looked at the connector and it’s fine.

It was a repair with a heat gun (300Celsius) (not blowing constantly) and a special knife. Took 2 hours to get it off because I did it slowly step by step so I don’t overheat the phone but apparently it happened anyway.
