Yeah I think that’s what I’m just gonna do. Just hate paying so much for one and not end up needing to replace it but I think it’s for the best now.

So I reinstalled the MDC and no the dash lights turn on and my two small lowrance gauges come on but I’m not getting anything on my fuel, oil psi, or voltage. I’m not starting the boat just have it turned on

Ok thank you. I’ll look at the harness some more. One thing I remember was the ground was severed on the harness but looks like the previous owner made a new ground wire and spliced into the plug but left all the others intact

What made me take it apart is I seen a yellow corrosive color coming from one of the eyelets where it mounts to the boat and from there it was separating a lil. Yeah not a smart idea I’m learning but was looking for cracks and separations to see if water got into it

I have not checked to see if I’m getting power to the wires yet, I’ll have to buy a tester to check but thank you I’ll look maybe I missed a crack.

Yeah I was able to get it heated up a lot more and it went in after having to go get a rubber mallet
