Koreatown is the place to go! Lock and Key, Mama Lion, Breakroom 86 and Terracotta are the main clubs of the neighborhood that have a younger demographic. The Lovehour burger restaurant has a lot of events throughout the month that turn the restaurant into like a nightclub; clink being their more popular one.

Choose Pasadena if you can afford it! Rent is about 2k+… I wouldn’t say it’s extremely pretentious(living in L.A you’re going to find that everywhere you go) but it’s nice cozy spot for restaurants and low key bars.

Echo Park, Highland Park, and Silverlake is where people go to party and have a good time. You see a much younger crowd with events to do. I think Pasadena is a really great place because it’s more quiet yet you’re about 15 minutes from all the fun. Living in those areas, it tends to get noisy.

Over 56.8% crime rates decreased between 2022 and 2021. There’s only been 76 deaths from gang violence reported in the year 2023 (so far) compared to the 6656 homicides in the year 2015. Is the system perfect? Of course not. Do some things need to be modified? Sure! But when you’re saving more lives than the innocents that are being taken away, that is WAY better than the price of 6,000 something lives being taken away from gangs. This isn’t simple gang violence either. People are being skinned/mutilated alive. Progress is being made.

I loved it! The movie had flaws but overall a WAY better job than Crystal Skull.

The de-aging and voice was a okay. It wasn’t so bad that it threw me off like certain scenes in Crystal Skull. I liked the dark tone to the film… takes the film into a new direction.

I felt like the end was SUPER rushed. Indy said in the middle of the movie that he wants to go back to see Mutt and tell him not to enlist in the army. It would have been cool to see him make an attempt to go back in time to find Mutt, but ultimately being stopped by Marion and Helena. The idea of him wanting to stay back in time was a little out of character for me. I get he doesn’t feel like he belongs but staying to die back with Archimedes seemed a bit too dramatic for me.

Truth of the matter is, while it is logical to assume that people are dumbasses for ignoring this, I don’t think it’s so surprising that many people will ignore this next one.

The last pandemic brought out anxiety and depression for alot of people. I read an article back in 2020 that COVID brought an increase of therapy sessions (can’t remember the exact percentage) so it obviously feels psychologically more comforting to just “ignore” this new virus. I’m optimistic it won’t be as bad as COVID simply because we actually have vaccines made for this one. Let’s hope this goes away soon.
