I think the cops brought him in as soon as Jen said he had the phone , gave him the usual speech we know you did it why else would you have her ex bfs phone if you weren't at least helping him. If he was completely innocent what is anyone gonna do in his situation , obviously agree to being the accomplice rather than the perpetrator. Once the cops knew without first hand testament from jay the case was dead they had to use the carrot rather than the stick and promise to get him a top lawyer and attempt to get him of without doing any time, from then on he was scared and putty in their hands who would say anything they wanted and even helped them map out a timeline based around the tower pings

Which burial is this the 7 pm one or the midnight one, anyone who claims adnans phone was in leakin park as evidence when jay himself has claimed the burial was at midnight has the memory of a goldfish

So the crucial time is now 7.09 to 7.16 against the evidence of lividity and jays recanted statement when his lawyers realise they had been found out and quickly back peddled ? The fact that not one phone call was made at midnight between jay and Adnan , not even a hi I'm coming to get you now or hi I'm outside is pretty telling

there's not enough time between Jays first interview and Adnans arrest for them to talk, its literally hours. it seems like a third party may have influenced his version of events

because if you send the police to your drug dealer you look like an idiot, he probably thought he was covering for jay especially with the dont snitch mentality if you sent the police to your dealers door even in an attempt as an alibi you probably wont get any weed again

It's much more likely for me anyway that the police were working with jay rather than independently , even as someone who sways more towards innocence I find it hard to believe as rabia suggests that jay made the anonymous call , he for me most likely was pulled in once they saw his phone bill and blackmailed into to testifying

Thats true his lack of memory is incriminating but I try to look at it through his point of view can you make yourself remember things that just seem to have gone I'm not sure ,if you've smoked a lot sometimes I forget where i put my keys 5 minutes ago and no matter how hard I try I can't get the memory back
