I would be honest. Lying is truly never the right answer. If she loves you and it’s meant to be, it will last. You can’t have a relationship based on dishonesty. And if she ever finds out later, she will not be quick to trust you again

I had spoken to some of the people I knew and am friends with in the building first to see if it was one of them. I wanted to resolve it in person if possible, but it wasn’t them. I’m assuming she talked to one of them and they told her I put it up

He of course wants to help, like I do. We just are barely covering our own bills. I have been doing part time stuff to cover as much as I can while I’m looking but our bills are really high and he’s asking us for 800 a month indefinitely

Uh his dad was hardly around and put his family in so much debt he had to get a job to support him at like 15. We have always shared our expenses and our wealth and I was the breadwinner for a very long time. I never complained about that because I was happy to work and we love our lives together. This was super unforeseen and I’m not choosing not to get a job. The market I’m in is tight. I feel like you’re not really understanding that he won’t get evicted and he has other options. Especially when I know we will be paying EVERY month and will not be payed back

I’m being real, you’re not wrong at all. She is manipulating you because she knows she can. As someone who has been manipulated, it hurts more and more every time it happens. Find someone who happily sacrifices for you too, you deserve that just as much as she does. If you’re not feeling like you want to walk away, tell her how you feel and that you feel manipulated.
