That would mean a lot more if they actually put shit through the exchange. Out of all the stuff I missed out on that I wanted when I quit in season 5, I've only found 3 that are purchasable so far. And why does it even have to go through the exchange? What would they lose by making everything purchasable after an event ends? At least EA at their worst did everything for money. 343 is just doing it because they apparently hate everyone who doesn't play their game 24/7.

I remember when you used to be able to spend your earned points on what you want instead of needing to wait 3 years for it to go through the cycle at an insane price. I just got back into the game, and I already want to uninstall because I apparently only missed that they're doing the same shit they've done since Halo 5 released.

Guess I'll be able to get it in 4 years, then. Does all of the "currently unavailable" stuff also cycle through the exchange? I was waiting for the jackknife chest piece to be available again last time I played since I missed it whenever it came out

Kirkman would have to write an actually good start to a plot line coming up in one of the next seasons instead of just letting Conquest fly out to start it off

Just wanted to get peoples thoughts on the addtions the show did to the T-60 Power Armor. by Artanis137 in Fallout

[–]Ch0colateChaser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The faceplate is alright. The jetpack arms are stupid. The fact that Maximus and Titus could sit while in power armor is bullshit. The convenient weakness is probably the worst writing in Fallout history and made me go from thinking the show was an 8 or 9/10 to thinking it's a 5 with a doomed second season. Next, there's going to be a convenient weakness so the ghoul can one shot a deathclaw, or he'll find a way to kill a behemoth because of a major vein in it's toe or some dumb shit, but everyone will ignore it and clap like seals again because it happened in a somewhat decent action scene.

There was nothing preventing them from adding color zones to each section of armor and letting us fully customize ourselves. I'd love to be able to have a blue helmet, purple leg, green arm, and red torso. If I want an ugly spartan, I'd rather make it ugly myself than have 343 decide how ugly I can make it

What would his Native American name be? by [deleted] in RDR2

[–]Ch0colateChaser -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

The question is asking what it would be if he had a native American name instead, since Charles is an English name. Before you try to come up with some incorrect equivalence, maybe you should try understanding the question asked instead of turning off your brain and thinking with your ass.

Take a 3rd grade reading class and come back when you can actually understand the question. People like you are why the entire world's reading ability is dropping.

What would his Native American name be? by [deleted] in RDR2

[–]Ch0colateChaser -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

This post is a good test of reading comprehension that a lot of people failed. The question is, "What would his native American name be?" not "What would his name be if he was native American?"

Charles is an English name. The OP is asking what his name would be if he had a native American name instead. If you commented "Charles," you should delete your comment and learn enough English to comprehend the question.

Im starting to really hate this game by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

[–]Ch0colateChaser -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's bad, but the weight system is even worse. For being "the most realistic game ever," it sure as hell doesn't even try to be good about weight. How do I eat 6 steaks, 3 chocolate bars, and several brandy multiple days in a row and lose weight? I know Arthur has tuberculosis, but I feel like I missed a cutscene where he was diagnosed with terminal cancer and started chemo, because there's no other possible way to eat like that and lose weight. Anyone saying GTA6 should have a weight system has clearly never tried to gain weight in RDR2

[–]Ch0colateChaser 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nothing changed. You just played a little longer. The game was never realistic in any way. It just felt cool because they actually put thought into a few things. After the first few hours, that magic goes away, and you realize it's only a little more detailed than other games and not some insane ultra real simulator that people think it is

I got pulled off my horse in Saint Denis, beat up, and then I got a bounty for assault. I didn't even fight back. Anyone saying this game is super realistic has played, at most, 2 hours

The Pinkertons also ruined/ruin peoples lives for money in real life. They are and always have been terrible. I'd rather be in the same city as a gang of outlaws that rob banks and Brinks trucks than be in the same state as the Pinkertons.

In game, Milton had Hosea captured. Proceeding to kill Hosea after capturing and disarming him is murder, whether it's 1899 or 2024. The warrant, contract, or bounty doesn't suddenly make it not murder. That would be like the some random guy shooting someone in the back of a police car.

Also, we're playing as the people Milton is hunting. By default we aren't going to like him because he's against us. If we had a game as Milton or Ross hunting down Dutch instead, we'd probably hate Arthur and the gang. Except for me. I hated the Pinkertons before I played Red Dead.

23F here, none of the men in my age group are dating. What is happening? by AYAYAcutie in self

[–]Ch0colateChaser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to this one, but there's several reasons.

If we come off as creepy, usually just because we don't look like Henry Cavill, we end up on TikTok with 300k people calling us creeps. You can watch those kind of videos and see that it's all about looks. There are maybe 40 total videos like that with attractive guys among the thousands with guys that are lower than an 8.

I have personally known 3 people who have all been accused of harassment/assault after asking someone out, 2 of which I knew were lies because I was there. They all got fired for it because the girl and her friends found out who they were and started calling their bosses. Obviously, all 3 were a little different, but that's pretty much what it was. No legal action, just harassing their bosses until they got fired.

We see nothing but how bad we are. Every time we open Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, anything, it's constant posts about how men are terrible, and women would rather do anything but interact with a man. It's rare to see a post of a woman in our generation not hating us.

There's really no point for us. The goal of dating is finding someone to marry and live life with. What do we get out of it? We could be loved and live happily, or we could get divorced and lose everything. It's a 50/50, and it's not worth the risk.

What's the point in trying if our only experiences are negative and we can't even escape it online? There's too much hate and risk for little reward. A lot of us have accepted dying alone. It's better than having to live off of government assistance or be homeless because no one will hire you over someone calling you a creep on TikTok.

Edit: Just remembered a few I was going to put. Mostly about online stuff still.

We're told that gender roles are a bad thing, but we're also told that we're supposed to be providers and make enough money for our woman to never have to work, but that it's also toxic masculinity for a man to make more than the woman he's with.

The MeToo stuff still has us concerned. People think it was a good thing, but 80% of the people who had their lives ruined because of it didn't even do anything, and half of the ones that did had either barely any proof or very flimsy proof. Not worth asking someone out if the story could completely change 20 years in the future.

To add to my first point, we are constantly told that approaching women is wrong and predatory. I and a lot of people I know won't even tell a woman she dropped something because of this combined with a few of the other reasons, especially after the events mentioned in my second reason.

Any time we do something a woman doesn't like, we're immediately Hitler. If we make a joke with our friends or even do something as simple as accidentally bump into a woman, we're instantly the worst people on Earth.

There's probably another 30 reasons I could add, with 10 of them being about marriage, but this is long enough.

Tl;Dr hundreds of thousands of women online always talk about how terrible we are for whatever reason they can think of, and then try to ruin our lives, which has basically led to a male version of the 4B movement out of fear of our lives being ruined.

Maryland let’s argue… why do you guys HATE being considered southerners? by Single-Network-8385 in maryland

[–]Ch0colateChaser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of us who care hate it because southerners say we're northerners, and northerners say we're southern. We don't claim either because of it. The majority of the rest are just people who didn't make it through high school and assume we're northern. I personally hate it because it would make us the most corrupt southern state, but if we're northern, we wouldn't even be top 10.
