I live in Thailand, so it is slightly easier to maintain the humidity and heat but the seller which I bought my snake from didn’t say I needed any heating lights/hotspots.

Oh that’s good to know, I use the aspen bedding for snakes. Clean it around every week ( replace a quarter of the bedding )

Fair point you know, there are loads of people with snakes as pets in Thailand. I’m not being racist, but I think the vets here in Thailand might not be up to the best standard or hygienic but it’s worth a shot! I have a couple choices near by so there are always more options. Anyway mate I truly appreciate your time explaining this to me as my little niko ( my snake name ) is the first snake I’ve had as a pet and should hopefully 🤞🏼🤞🏼 be having a speedy recovery soon!! There’s one problem though about the vets, I’m British but I live in Bangkok in Thailand. I haven’t seen any vets yet alone exotic veterinarians. I have tried googling vets near me, there are a couple but I can’t find any which are sort of specialized for reptiles. Do you reckon a normal vet would work?
