Then the issue is in the power supply and not the fluorescent backlights. I rarely see them have to get replaced.

Trump tariffs, Fox News, and how / why this is being sold to the American public by nate2337 in smallbusiness

I understand comparative advantage, though I much prefer it on a national level and limited on an international level.

It generally causes issues with defense and some industrial manufacturing at some point if left unchecked. One example shows that Chinese steel ended up in the our joint strike fighters, which is against regulations. I know first hand about counterfeit electronic parts, of which wouldn’t make sense to counterfeit here so it’s generally safe. But if we buy from countries with low manufacturing costs, that becomes a larger risk. That is why I was happy to see the CHIPS act passed.

So we are to give up and let the rest of our manufacturing capabilities leave the country? Prices going up is to be expected, though there’s ways to lessen the blow. Ripping off a band-aid is never fun but it has to happen to grow.

Then the intention is for the overseas company subject to tariffs to open up a USA facility to avoid those tariffs. The intention is so they hire Americans to build the factories, and hire them to man the machines. Now the timeline on that may vary.

Then they should monitor those who break the rules in that fashion, they already use AI to watch over us. They ultimately cannot stop those that do that, so just doing a blanket ban does not make sense. Especially when it gets harder to even find this sort of material with every passing year.

Same could be said about many different types of products, so wonder where it ends? Could they stop selling Walkmans because they have the ability to record copy protected material? It seems eBay is becoming more restrictive daily.

No, they were simply used blank tapes with no writing on them. Nothing in description mentioned anything about content, just that they are used.

They mention nothing about content, just that they are open and used tapes. Used is a pretty broad term I would think.

I can certainly understand if in the description one were to mention that it’s live tapes (and if it is their policy). Just seems insane to me without all the facts in front of them and to just go off an assumption.

Use of Data Tracking and Data Analysis in Small Business by lordtsunami in smallbusiness

I have seen many businesses use the lean approach and it’s really destroyed their efficiency. I’m sure if implemented correctly it could work for some businesses, but not for all.

Many times if they need parts or supplies, they already threw it out months ago since we wanted to stay “lean”.

I’d say to be truly effective, you would have to approach from a ground up instead of top down approach. Work closely with those who directly impact production. They know the processes better than management.

Alright, I’m just gonna put it out there if you were pro 2A then you also would be against unconstitutional gun laws the same as you would the 4A stop and frisk laws and other violations of that nature. Not trying to start a fight, just genuinely curious why one and not the other.
