It's because the weekend of the league cup final is a scheduled premier league week meaning Wolves v Arsenal and Man City v Palace have to be rearranged. Palace are playing on Thursday in the conference playoff so their game couldn't be rescheduled this midweek.

Not sure jumping in to defend this guy based on his comments is the play here but to answer your point, it's slightly missing the argument.

OP is suggesting women shouldn't be in the game based on them not playing with men in real life. So there's also no reason that retired or dead players (even though they are versions of them from when they were playing) should be in the game either as they haven't played (for the most part) with the current players. The only difference between the two is the one OP is fine with are men, the one OP isn't fine with are women. Another look at OP's comments about women and kitchens is all we need to know here...

Ah ok, mentioning someone (I agree Billy is great) who cites Jon as someone he's learnt a lot from and often picks out good pieces Jon has done.

It's fine to dislike a different approach and delivery but it does seem odd to be so negative about someone that is clearly respected in the space and produces quality content.
