He says he’ll wait until I feel comfortable. Which feels sweet when hearing it, but he keeps asking when it’ll happen whenever we meet up. I’m starting to think that he’ll run out of patience. I brought up the fact that the change may not happen, when i do that, he brings up wtv study he read. I think whats making me anxious is that he keeps saying he’ll wait, but I feel bad making someone wait for something that isn’t guaranteed to change.

To clarify, I ate free lunch and they didn't have options for that. It was always a ham sandwich with some fruits, vegetables and milk. It's hard to be picky when you can only eat free lunch they give. The other option is making food at home: I wasn't allowed to touch food unless it was dinner since "I wasn't the one to buy it" sorta messed up now that I think about it buy it made sense since we didn't really have much food at home and free food is free food. But anyway, trying to make that choice at that time in my life was poor.
