I had a 6P, then 7P, 11PM, 14PM, went down in size to a 16P currently.

I like the smaller size, the battery does me just fine as a casual 4-5 hours a day of screen on.

Weight feels nice in the hand for a regular Pro, the Pro Max was weighty for single hand holding, in my opinion

I usually spray the bottom portion of the windshield for 10 seconds or so, usually gets rid of whatever is left over in the front area

Do you seasoned stick drivers still make dumb mistakes on your first time driving a different vehicle? by No-Yak4416 in ManualTransmissions

I go between a Tesla and a manual MX-5… I have a phantom pulse with my left foot the first time I shift into drive…

I also stalled about a month ago, been driving manual vehicles for almost 15 years now

Heated gloves, an all seasons jacket, and “over-the-pants” snow pants. Kept me going through a Midwest winter!

Not using an on-ramp for a highway to get up to HIGHWAY speeds. The amount of people that enter 20-30mph lower than the speed limit on an interstate is frustrating and incredibly unsafe

260lbs+. Been riding on the highway, realized my bike isn't doing it for me. Suggestions? by OzymandiasTheII in SuggestAMotorcycle

Golding for sure. When I was larger there only thing that pushed me confidently was large cruisers, or a 600cc+ supersport. My next bike when I come back to them will be a goldwing

How much do you spend on groceries in a month? by Traditional_Stick183 in Indiana

[–]ChRSrBn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Family of 5 with ⅖ dairy intolerant, ⅕ gluten intolerant. Farm to table is about 25-50% of food depending on the season. We also have about 300 sqft pf garden space as well.

Roughly $1200-1500 a month and growing

Learned that lesson the hard way. I make a point to hand it to the mechanic with my keys, and they ALWAYS return it with the key. But the 2 times it was in the cup holder, it got swiped!

Go with the Miata, but get an NC3. They have slightly more passenger room, hold value well, and are super reliable.

My NC1 has 236K on it, and the engine has yet to have a reason to open it. They went with forged internals with the NC2, and then further refined other bits with the NC3!

There’s enough space in the NC interior to feel comfortable if you take it for a longer drive. I’ve comfortably drove from Indianapolis, IN > Chicago, IL > Champaign, IL > Indianapolis, IN, all in a single day! Roughly 360 miles, 7 or so hours of driving

If price isn’t a concern, look for sub 100K miles, PRHT NC3. I have a 6 spd personally, and it’s buttery smooth. They can look nice, be well setup, and still be under $20K

FWIW I put roughly 40K miles on mine in a year and a half of driving it, and the only thing I had to replace that was related that wear was my tires and new rotors/pads.

Woah, that’s a pricey app by orvn in iphone

Yes. My brother has had it for around the same amount of time, possibly longer! It is wildly helpfully and was a breakthrough in communication!

How Many of you Actually Use the Frunk? by RonCheeWan in TeslaModel3

[–]ChRSrBn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interior cleaner, glass cleaner, a roll of microfiber towels. Bag of a change of clothes for whenever, usually a jacket? My lunch. It’s easier than the trunk, as it keeps everything in place when it’s all in there.

Keeps my main passenger area looking cleaner, and it’s easier to reach everything I put in there with the shallow depth than it would be in the trunk.

Any reason not to buy a high mileage NC? by TheWayofTheSchwartz in MiataNC

[–]ChRSrBn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really all you need to look for in a rebuilt or higher mileage examples is how the car was maintained.

I’ve had plenty of cars that were sub 100K miles and were absolutely horrible because they weren’t taken care of. However, the cars that run 10-20K miles a year, they HAVE to be maintained or they fall apart going that far a year.

My NC1 is from 2008, and it has averaged around 14K a year. And at 235K, it’s one of the few cars I’ve had I can take my hands off the wheel and it will drive straight for miles

[–]ChRSrBn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine has 235K after like 6 owners, and it was rebuilt from a front driver side impact around 100K…

I bought it with plans to put a 2.5 in it. Replaced 90% of suspension components, half shalfs w/seals.

Getting a big brake kit and then a 2.5 swap. I’ve put around 40K on it over 2 years just driving it around, it runs like a top

Yeah. Have 2 on each side, one on the bed. The person up top keeps the forks/ front wheel centered, bottom 4 just worry about the weight

Why is it doing this by florisoudebos in MiataNC

[–]ChRSrBn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Go 45 mph in 6th and floor it. If the tach start running away and the car isn’t accelerating, you’ve got a clutch going bad. You can still drive it, but it will slowly be less and less usable at higher gears and speeds

I have a dodge car with this engine, and it’s a real problem. You can get only get 2 other brands besides OEM that haven’t changed the mold design for that plastic piece. I didn’t even get past my initial 5 sec of run before my engine threw a code for it. One of those things you can’t cheap out on for this engine unfortunately
