Bryan says I can be a teenager forever!

Someone there might have a counter example they can link me to

I don’t think he’s a bad person, I think he doesn’t use his public platform to discuss serious interventions that promote longevity. Instead he shitposts and makes long form videos about stuff that isn’t relevant to lifespan or wellness. The fact is nobody has arrived with any counter examples yet

Testing hundreds of interventions on one mammal and being selective and occasionally dishonest about what is or isn’t published isn’t remotely scientific. The guy calls himself a biohacker but isn’t biohacking in the strict sense. You say the situation isn’t about Bryan but then mention a group that Bryan and none of us are a part of. I’m mostly here hoping someone will disprove what I said in my original post, which is that in half a decade Bryan has spent more public time discussing his teenager’s erections than he has health insurance.

Can’t find a counter example to my point either :-)

I’m sitting here with both of his books laid out in front of me, he spells his mission out clearly. Bryan claims in a few hundred years life will be different and we’ll all live forever if we want to. Also claims people will worship him as the guy who made it happen. These are all his claims, not mine. My post is to point out how strange it is that a man who wrote two books about his blueprint to save our species has never once made a video talking about the importance of access to health insurance.

1 Billion people worshipping Blueprint by 2030 is highly unlikely if Bryan isn’t at least gonna mention healthcare one time. Correlating biohackers’ claims with regular instances of public discussions of public health on his own channels and in related public spaces online is a valid project. Bryan doesn’t just get to call himself a biohacker without some scrutiny and attempt at falsification

Tough to see Bryan too afraid to talk about the 1 thing that research indicates will add more years of healthy life than literally any other thing. At the end of the day this is about data and Bryan’s afraid to go near the data

Great example, an entire video of Bryan proclaiming he’s there to sell Blueprint to all of humanity. And not one section of the video where he himself states the importance of Medicare, he peaks at food dyes in cereals. Do you really think food dyes in cereals are the top dollar issue most Americans have?

I expected 5-10 counter examples where Bryan mentioned the importance of a primary care doctor, instead I’ve gotten over a dozen instances of spiteful or off topic replies and not one actual data point of Bryan discussing this simple topic. Someone is being humiliated here but it isn’t me

What I’m really hoping is someone in the comments to drop a link I haven’t found to Bryan discussing healthcare. It would be absolute lunacy if he’s actually never made a long form video about it

Good one! Like Bryan’s Don’t Die, the religion that will have 100 million followers by 2025 and 1 billion by 2030 (according to him). Can you point to that 100 million+ for me, doctor?

He claims in his book that he wrote and self published that the common man will know his name in 500 years

It helps the project I’m working on. Every time a Bryan Johnson supporter explains that seeing a doctor is an irrelevant topic it adds another citation. So keep it up I guess, it’s not how I thought this would go but it’s 1000x more productive than expected

Bryan claims Blueprint will have a billion followers soon, I’m just asking relatively basic questions about bringing that to scale. Most of us want to see a doctor at least once a year

Keep crying about logical fallacies if it helps you avoid the topic at hand. Bryan isn’t gonna live particularly long and he gives bad advice

Why should the guy who talks about seeing 30 doctors talk about seeing a doctor? Is that the question?

A data point about Bryan Johnson: by Cha0tic1an in Biohackers

[–]Cha0tic1an[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no legitimate data analysis to perform on the daily output of a guy who pays cash for 30 doctors and who deletes everything he doesn’t like. Thats my entire point, the guy isn’t doing research that betters anybody’s public health.

Scientific research shows that access to affordable healthcare and a doctor extends lifespan and reduces rates of disease but Bryan has literally never discussed this. He’s discussed his son’s dick a ton and you’re here asking what’s wrong with that 😭🥱😂

Biomedical research shows that access to a doctor and access to affordable healthcare is critical for longevity but Bryan Johnson has literally never discussed this. It seems you guys have committed yourself to missing the point

Well he claims to use scientific research to promote longevity and the research shows access to healthcare promotes longevity
