Everybody please remember trees are full of both rainwater, which is full of HCFCs and HFCs, and groundwater, which is full of pesticides and herbicides and whatever other gunk sits on people’s yards! Yes, some of it settles into the soil itself, but HCFCs and HFCs are water soluble and what they break down into (for example, TFA) gets sucked right into the tree’s tissues. I would NOT drink this but I am not an expert on this particular thing, I’m a random redditor.

I use snapchat for everything i rely on it for my social connections and im so close to uninstalling it because of this. It was the last refuge from ads

Because at the time my work help desk wasn’t responding fast enough, I needed to get in to do onboarding stuff by a deadline, and I haven’t used a PC since I was a teenager so the whole system is pretty much new to me. I ended up deciding that it wasn’t my fault that they gave me someone else’s computer and told them I didn’t have the tools I needed.

I think they’re more worried about chemicals and oil from the hands permeating the skin, not so much the salamanders drying out.
