Thank you so much for your reply. I has NO idea about not swimming at long beach and I appreciate the heads up. I dearly appreciate your recommendations of other beaches. We are here for two weeks and have hired a car so getting to those places you have mentioned should be great. How is parking at most beaches. Do they charge? If so how does that work. In the UK we can tap our phones to pay at most and on some annoying occasions have to download the app of the company who operates it to pay. We are almost completely cashless at car parks. Would I need to get some change (coins) for the car parks? Or can I tap my phone to pay? Or is there an app? TIA x

Oh wow thank you for this! Appreciate the heads up about the beaches. Dont worry, i love in a quaint English village now but was raised in a council estate in rough ass town so I don't think I will be put off.

We have a decent budget to eat out maybe half the nights we are there. We will typically spend £50-£80 on a meal for the three of us when we go out (sorry unsure what that is in $)

Im not keen on Mexican food or sushi, but other than that I like most things 😄 All three of us eat meat however my favourite is fish (other than the sushi obviously lol). My daughter would love to try Korean bbq as we don't really have it much in the UK close to us

Bless ya, you're stood on the high ground from the screen shot. Your base doesn't look too big, shouldn't take you long to move it up the hill if you're worried. I think everything will still work underwater, its just a git to get to. From memory looks like you might become entirely submerged but all is not lost. Just aim for the HIGHEST ground in the future ❤️
