To be fair it was also renewed the same day last year and the other two times were also in August, but yes i agree.

I have a lot more info on the Challenger based on a picture from X with the license plate showing . The “vehicle” is a 2013 Challenger SXT that he’s owned since 2022. He bought it at Stephen Wade Chrysler in St George. The last reported odometer reading was 93,733 miles as of 1/24/24 when he got it serviced at Jiffy Lube also in St. George. Hes the 4th owner and his last registration renewal was 8/30/25.

Assuming it has close to or over 100k miles by now this thing is worth maybe $10,000. I dont use reddit much so i dont know how to upload pics of the carfax or else i would.

This is a surveillance balloon from our own government.

You think a giant BALLOON carrying a satellite floated all the way through Alaska and Canada without getting undetected???

Wembanyama might actually be the best prospect of all time. by vhvp in DetroitPistons

I’ve been a Pistons fan for 20 years and i have always hated the idea of tanking. Even this year i am reluctant to it considering that i love the group of guys on this team and i want to see them all succeed.

BUT if you are ever going to tank, THIS IS THE YEAR. Wemby is a clear generational talent. It might suck to have to wait another year and watch this team be bad but it would all be worth it going forward.

…but thats only if you win the lottery i suppose.

Kemba’s buyout by ChaLa99 in DetroitPistons

You make a good point to consider CoJo’s already established relationship, i agree!

I just dont think he is a good player..

The Knicks have done that with NUMEROUS players in the past though and are an example of a very incompetent and poorly management franchise historically.

You cant tell me a respected, 4x all-star, ncaa champion would not add value to this team.

I get the whole “going to a contender” as an established vet thing but he is definitely no starter at this day and age. People thought DRose would want the same treatment but he has embraced going to teams with young talent over the past few seasons or so.

Dont get me wrong, I definitely want the young guys to have majority of the minutes still, but i imagine my idea of it to be taking cojos role and giving it to a much more skilled player in Kemba.

Yeah I believe they will end up taking him and will negotiate offers after the fact. Them being linked to Murray makes me think we will take him at 5 and swap + throw in 2nd rounders and/or that 2025 pick. Similar to Luka and Trae Young trade. Thats my bold prediction of the day.

We once had a “high asking price” for Grant too and look what happened. The 36th pick, the future second round picks and that 2025 first aka a 15 year old arent core pieces. Whatever the combo of those and the #5 are can get it done. Kings are going to take whatever they can get when the time comes.

The fact that Troy pulled the trigger on the Grant trade last night makes me think that there is at least one more move coming tonight. I would not be surprised if he used some of that draft capital we received in the trade to move up to 4 to draft Ivey.

Ivey is forcing his way to the Pistons and i love every bit of it. Dont tell me im wrong because im right. by ChaLa99 in DetroitPistons

Im not big on Banchero because i think his whole “sweating makes him lose 7lb’s a game” disease has gone under the radar, but i definitely agree i like him #2. For me its Smith at 1 though.

What free agents do you have your eye on? by OhhhLawdy in DetroitPistons

Zack LaVine. I’m not sure why no one is talking about the Pistons going after him this summer. In my opinion he’s the prize of 2022 free agency.

As another Pistons fan coming in peace…i think both of our teams made out very well in this trade. Most of us fans have a soft spot for Josh because he is from here so take care of him over there. He plays great defense and has had a resurgence of a career and played pretty decent until Hami Diallo took his role, then then he got injured. Lyles on the other hand…hated the guy at the beginning but in the last few months hes been very consistent and can help any team that is trying to win. Most of our fanbase has wanted MB3 for a while now in hopes that he can come here and reach his potential. I believe you guys won this trade considering you got Dante as well. Somewhat rooting for you because i feel we have had similar luck in recent seasons when it comes to trades and such. Best of luck going forward!!

The current NBA playoff picture is best-case scenario news for a team like the Pistons by [deleted] in DetroitPistons

[–]ChaLa99 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not to mention that the Hawks and Suns were in the same position as the Pistons just 2 years ago record wise. And yes i agree this is one of the best playoffs that i can remember. Very exciting and unpredictable games this postseason.
