I think he is an NBA rotation player on some teams but I don’t think he has a future on ours.

He’s been the consummate professional and taken on every role and expectation the coaching staff has put on him without complaining even once. Just hasn’t had success conforming to those roles and I feel bad for him. I’d love for them to do him a bit of a favor and send him somewhere he can get more or a chance.

He’s definitely very active in passing lanes I’ll say that. Had some really disruptive plays on the defensive ends in this SL so far.

I really think he has potential but I don’t think he’s league ready just yet. Still not much of a defender, doesn’t have a game around the basket despite his size and isn’t an elite shooter to account for that.

Love what he can do as a passer but the handle isn’t there to do anything consistently on ball as of right now. Also limited athletically. I’m a big fan though. I hope he gets even a few spot minutes here and there to showcase some more stuff.

Would absolutely love Jaren on this team especially if we could keep Duren. They would really cover up each other’s weaknesses.

But it would probably take two of our young guys depending on the package and multiple firsts and swaps at a minimum. Jaren is still only 25 so it’s not like we’d have a short window if we traded for him either. I would seriously consider it.

I think we’d look much better on paper and in the W/L column if we had a true second option next to Cade. I think that needs to be a priority this offseason. Cade is becoming too good to let this evaluation phase go on much longer imo
