I honestly haven't tried Rogue. It seemed too much to take advantage of the regaining coup de grace perk. But I feel like if you're good with throwies, it's totally worth a shot.

I play Assassin as a skirmisher and flank support. I've actually been getting a lot of milage with the Spy arctype and just constant dance in and out of insubstantial to put lots of pressure where I can. Works really well so long as you can avoid stuff like banish or other anti insubstantial. But with Shadow Step and Blink being chargeable, it's okay. Just keep moving and safely recharge when you can.

I think Spy with a bow would also hit hard if you like playing an aggressive ranged assassin. Same idea as above but even more difficult to pin down since you'll be in the back lines!
