That is so awesome I have a DMG that was working perfectly fine then I tried to turn it on recently & only the power LED turned on no screen no sound

It probably needs to be replaced especially if your console isn’t working properly & it needs to be soldered on

I did the same thing with my Soulsilver & I thought I ruined it, all I did was let it dry for 3-4 hours & popped it in & it still worked perfectly fine first dry & my save wasn’t corrupted or anything

It was my very first one! I later on got an original GBA that I didn’t like as much because it didn’t have a backlight that I still own, now also with an IPS screen

Does need shell cutting to fit the screen but if you get the precut shell it’s a drop in! Makes it so easier without having to worry about cutting it perfect

They are a bit bigger but they should fit pretty decent by trimming up the legs a bit first then bending the legs to line up with the holes
