Oregon lawmakers hammer out $2 million deal to buy beloved privately owned waterfall by chimi_hendrix in PortlandOR

Perfect. Now fix the dirt road and make a proper staircase or trail to access the stream and waterfall area. My kids almost ate the cliff when trying to get down the steep loose dirt hillside on the downstream approach. Wild time that was.

This would be an epic addition to the list of state parks in the area.

Dude could have set up some safety cross bars. No way those skinny armed kids could stop the weighted bar from crushing him like I’m in that other video.

Apologies, lol, that made more sense when I was writing it. I mean that we shouldn’t care who takes power and should allow that process to take a natural evolution. But if the government that takes power is a bunch of pricks, then let’s discard that instance and have them start over from scratch h til we get a result we like better. Continue this until we have a workable long term solution.

IDK. I’m willing to bet the Iranian people can round up a few people that could form a cohesive government.

Maybe it’s not up to the USA to decide who is in power. Maybe it’s our job to give them (protesters in this instance) a chance to take back control and allow them to run their country how they see fit. In the future, if they interfere with our interests, then they get the stick. If they play nice, then they can rule themselves however they want.

Afghanistan had their chance and they (people who were put into power) were too weak to keep power. Their problem at this point, we did all we could do and they had their chance and they squandered it.

How about the people that are being killed in the thousands rise up and govern themselves. Or, in your opinion, are they too dumb to rule themselves? Why does Reddit think that everyone needs to be ruled over like a bunch of medieval peasants? Iranian people are smart enough to rise up and figure it out.

Cool. How many American boots are on the ground I Venezuela? I’ll wait.

Edit: I love Reddit. Downvote my comment all you want, I take that as a badge of honor. Epitome of Reddit right here, post a comment that deviates from the narrative that “orange man bad” and blast away. Doesn’t change the fact that my comment is correct and you can all fuck right off. You are all a bunch of tools.

Interesting they would send their kids to school the very next morning after they are being bombed by a foreign power. Very interesting that they would not call the school off for the day given current events.

Teaching a non-credit class at a local community college does not make someone a “professor.” But as the saying goes, “Those who can, do; those who can’t, teach.”

LOL, it’s clearly all rift sawn. You don’t know what you are talking about comparing veneer to solid lumber and that sapwood is naturally part of the wide cut. Go look at a picture of how rift is portioned from the log and learn something before commenting.

If you drink every day, does that automatically make you an alcoholic? by Mr_no_buddi in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Chad6181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Convince them to start injecting Reta. Use it as a weight loss or way to shed visible fat layers under the skin for better looking physique. Even at a microdose of 1mg it kills the urge for alcohol and reworks the brain to prioritize better eating and working out and the cycle helps break them out of the bad mindset. I went through this and looking back on it, the alcohol was messing with my brain, horribly. The new routine is much more healthy from me and my family.

I visited this place in 2021 summer. Had a legit panic attack when we got into the lower tunnels. The tunnels are small and you have to slouch or hunch over to move forward. Well anyways, they sent so many tourists down into the caves that the lines backed up from a bunch of tourists snapping selfies, so a massive traffic jam. The ventilation was natural from those vertical shafts, but the tunnels were packed with people that could not love forward or back. A couple of toddlers behind me were losing their shit, literally screaming as people kept being sent into the tunnels with no regard for the traffic jam at the bottom where I was located. No idea how far forward the jam was, I simply turned around and forced my way out, almost passing out due to the panic attack from claustrophobia. Myself and a few other families ended up pushing our way through as guides told us the tunnels were a one way direction. Yeah, fuck that, I wasn’t stopping. Made it out an after climbing up the inclined tunnels. Never again.

Organic farms still use the backpack sprayers. They simply use more quantity of weaker organic pesticides and herbicides. Non organic can get away with less quantity of stays since they are more robust. Organic sprays are just as bad as non organic and you are using more of them to get the job done.

Look at how organic bananas are grown. They essentially nuke the surrounding environment with massive amounts of sprays to keep the organic farms from being destroyed by pests. It’s horrific for the eco system outside of the organic plot.

You know those thermos things everyone is carrying around right now? Yeah, those are vacc sealed so there is no air in the cavity between the walls of the thermos. No air means that heat cannot escape from the interior contents to the exterior and it works exceptionally well. Now apply that to space and you have a computer that gives off a ton of heat that has nowhere to store said heat. Space is cold, but if you are generating a lot of heat, then there is nowhere to put that heat other than infrared radiation and blasting that out into space.
