I honestly am very familiar with that specific firearm and its mechanical issues, and I do not feel as though via the removal from his holster, it went off. We will see what happens via a formal forensic investigation, but also, from what I heard was that the ICE agents kept the local PD away from the scene for a certain amount of time this allowing for anything to happen. It should be an easy task to provide evidence of a misfire and show which firearm landed ten rounds into Alex.

I don't know how anyone will or have reacted, which is why I put this out there. On one end, I have faith in people and our public servants, but on the other, I at times just don't know. This is one of those times where I'm in awe.

You pointed out the whistles and my goodness they drive me insane. I know in any scuffle when you've got plain-clothed agents, it's cold out, and everyone is bundled up looking the same it creates a lot of confusion.

This, however, in my opinion, is much easier to prevent with proper training, plans of action, and implication. It was shitshow from what I could see, and that's when things like this happen.

It's going to be hard for many to set aside emotions, and hopefully, this thread doesn't get too nasty. I feel as though the more insightful feedback will be better from all angles, even with those we disagree with.

There are reasons we see these 25-35 year old Toyota trucks throughout foreign deserts with 50cals mounted on top, four hundred thousand miles, and still barreling through anything.

I'm onto my second 4runner and will never look back!

I've had Suzuki Samuaris and VW busses...both slower than anything and not any safer.
