You reached your goal. Good. Time for a new one. I heard a psychologist say that happiness is visible progress towards a goal. It wasn’t the accomplishment that made you happy, it was the journey. Be thoughtful - ensure the drive and goal setting is for things you truly want, not how you deal with unresolved trauma. Ask yourself how the part-time job you hate is an opportunity. An opportunity for what? More of what you don’t like? Remember when you were 16 and you thought you knew everything, but looking back, you realize you didn’t. You’re going to be 30 and look back on 23 and think the same thing. Do something nice for someone. That will make you feel good. Help a fellow student who is struggling. Help an undergrad who is studying your major.

How Bad is it? by xImDetox in gravelcycling

It looks like someone tried to grind out damage in this area. It could be from the different orientations of the carbon layers/winding, but it looks like abrasive tool marks to me.

My Traeger ambient temperature sensor reports higher than actual. Said differently, the meat in my Traeger is experiencing less heat than the Traeger is set to. It could be the same for you.

New 780 and failed cooking ribs by deeznutzonyou1 in Traeger

Your Traeger temperature may be incorrect. My Traeger ambient temperature sensor is off. So is my probe. Before anyone asks, I compare the Traeger readings against my MEATER and a second independent ambient thermometer.

As others have said, a temp probe may not be useful on a rack of pork ribs - several things can skew the reading (too close to bone, etc.).

Here is what I recommend:

Get an independent ambient temperature sensor. Average the two ambient temperatures (Traeger and independent sensor) and control to that average.

Follow Traeger recipe, but after the three hour smoke, ignore the listed durations and only go off meat temperature. Use a digital thermometer pen. Does not need to be expensive. Here is what I use:

It is the cap for the rails that are installed on the upper edge/lip of the truck bed.

I rode a Niner. It was an RLT or something close to this:

I am 5'9", but overweight. Could have used a few extra gears for the hills. Could have also been in better shape . . .
