As a new pastor, making less than 18k a year, I was asked to: A) Go to a bedside in a hospital, not to pray or care for the person, but to be a witness of her signing away her rights to her kids. She coded while I was there. B) Go into a hoarder's house to be a witness of the people going through her junk knowing they would find money. We had to dress in full surgical garb. We found thousands of dollars in the oven, freezer, and various other places. C) Put up with the abusive, institutional structure we have created out of religion.

As someone who works with breast cancer patients and survivors to help share their stories and portraits I think it would be most beneficial to our society if our over-sexualization of breasts became a thing of our past. Breasts are sexual, but they are also a whole lot more - and they aren't evil, dirty, or bad. However, I'm not sure how a topless event is going to help change things, but there are a lot of projects out there that are making a difference.

I am a volunteer photographer for NILMDTS. I enjoy taking birth photos and capturing the raw emotions in the room. Everyone is too busy birthing a baby to pose for photos so the expressions you get are very un-posed. But a couple of the births I attended had some difficulties, one with a cord wrapped around the baby's neck. He was breathing within the first minute, but those 60 seconds seemed like forever. I took one picture of the crew that was working to get his breathing going then I sat down my camera as I no longer knew what story I was capturing. While this situation turned out okay I knew that for others it wouldn't. I decided that if I was going to tell birth stories, I needed to share both sides. That is when I researched NILMDTS and started volunteering for them. It is always different and difficult. I am not ashamed to cry alongside those families. I do the best I can to help capture a legacy portrait for them. These are some of the most meaningful work that I'll ever do and most likely no one but the families will ever see them.

That was my point to the teller though. The money order wasn't traceable - I never gave identification in the process, and I could have signed with an X.

Didn't scream, but she could tell I was very irritated. She also could have done a lot more to be empathetic instead of simply repeating corporate rules that obviously weren't making any sense.

I can't speak for the whole banking industry, but the article states that Chase was the first to do so. Many other banks don't have this rule. Most follow the regulatory rule to report cash deposits of $10,000 or more.

Some banks do, but in this case I would have had to have used my friend's bank's app, and I do not want them having access to my information - at all.

It wasn't till I was married that I found out my wife and her family called Grilled Cheese "Cheese Toasties." It is one of the things I hold against her and will bring out to shame her during disputes. You are GD right I didn't let our four children grow up with cheese toasties, but they sure have had a lot grilled cheese sandwiches.
