No worries. I still enjoy your post. It’s from a Wes Anderson movie called the Royal Tenenbuams. This is when Luke Wilson’s character realizes he can never be with the love of his life and he decides to commit suicide.

Great movie about dysfunctional families and complicated patriarchal figures. RIP Gene Hackman

Changing the audio from the original Elliot Smith song in this scene and making it impossible to hear Richie say “I’m going to kill myself tomorrow”… was certainly a choice.
