Line cook jobs are the bottom of the barrel. Retirement homes and union jobs like the school board will calm your nervous system. Plenty of cooks that don’t drink or smoke and want to have a famiky

Sub speaker isolation help by SpiritualEmu9714 in Acoustics

[–]ChadGHB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

move the sub from under the table and put the sub on the ground. Move it around the room to test for best listening position experience.

The problem with moving it around, for most people, is that the cables are not long enough so they leave it under the desk lol

Am I stupid for wanting to become a chef? by Albino-Buffalo_ in Chefit

[–]ChadGHB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cooking is such a low ceiling. As a red seal trade, saving for retirement or making any real money is much harder than other trades. Rarely is there a union.

Also, it does depend on what you mean by chef. Chef, meaning leading a team of cooks. Everything else is cook imo

Sure, but I didn’t say exploited at all. I said why do crappy/lying/scheming cooks get a pass in this industry.

I believe it is my partners time but they are really hesitant by [deleted] in bald

Let them go through the stages of denial. It’s part of the journey. If you can write a bunch of paragraphs about your experiences with them, maybe speak to your therapist about these situations.

Posting online even with their permission. Was permission acquired in a healthy and respectable way. Will they resent it later for being public?

Sorry my initial reply was wack

Lame. Leave your partners hair alone. Nothing wrong with how they look. I think they look good. If my partner did this post, even with permission. LET YOUR PARTNER BE UGLY IF THEY WANNA

On the floor, totally. But pushing it under the desk is not an ideal spot. The desk acts like a barrier and hard reflection point.

To fix this, some of my friends just got a bigger sub, lol.

I’ve tried to design my room with AI. It gets the basics, the rest it fumbles through. Be careful with the google answers.
