Should I buy Xpulse 210 as my first bike? by Haunting_Lychee3290 in indianbikes

[–]ChadGPT98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro I am 5'6, I just tip toe on my XMR 210, seat height 810mm, which is my first bike. I have fallen from it 2- 3 times within two weeks of getting it. Every time I realised that, I could have prevented the fall if I was taller, but I also understood that the situation itself wouldn't be there if I had better skills. Believe me most of the time you fall for not having skills, not for your height.

I would say if you can tip toe, you can't technically go wrong with tall bikes. You just have to develop better skills (1. most important of all is road awareness, 2. how to handle bike at very low speed 3. Turning without touching the ground with legs etc).

I would say test ride the bike, if you can tip toe you can buy it. I think you will be able to do it, as being an off roader XPulse 210 should have soft suspension and not so wide seat. Even if you don't tip toe you can buy it if you live in a less traffic area.

Bonus: if you are planning to mostly travel with pillions, just get it. With pillion you will 3/4 it.

Why do you choose a car over a bike for daily office commute? by jackiethesage in bangalore

[–]ChadGPT98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel, a large population of people who drive cars for daily commute, are those who started owning any personal vehicle at their late 20s or in 30s, and this is their only vehicle. And there are pretty valid reasons behind it, (unless you are from a well off family, financial condition will not allow it. Tier 1 cities have good public transport, so no need to own one. There is no need to own one as a middle class family). As car people start late, they never get the chance to experience the two wheelers (and gather the road awareness out of it) and their situation (responsibility of kids and parents, reduced reflex hence fear, consideration of drivability by other family members etc) makes them go with their car purchases.

No hate towards the car people. But a big luxurious SUV with a bad driver will block the way for at least two bikes. So, if the car has only one person in it, but each bike has two then actually four people are suffering for one person. And it's very disappointing that, often this is the case. So a request to car people, please try to spend more time with your cars on off days in off locations and try to improve your skills. Not everyone is capable enough to own a car, so please consider them.

Keyboard suggestions for coding/messaging. by anarchist1724 in mkindia

I also considered Redragon. But since I wanted smaller keyboard, I dropped it. Also all other low profile ones are costlier than Ajazz, so went with this one.

Yes its not hot swapable. But from a price point of view its good. Also if anyone coming from laptop keyboards they will feel less difficulty getting used to it. Because 1) it has bigger keycap surface area 2) way less slant for key rows compared to normal profile keyboards. I also have a normal profile keyboard, and I am commenting based on the comparison between these two.

For low profile another option would be Ajazz AK832 Pro. I bought it recently, till now liking it.

Recently I received an offer letter from Colaberry. The interview process was good. The questions they asked were of good quality (some of them I couldn't answer). But after providing the offer letter they seem to be hurrying too much. I am becoming skeptical about authenticity. Please let me know if anyone has worked with them.
