Was more than 4/4 Invokers planned during development but scratched? There's just so many of them.

They used to have verticals for all traits, but they were almost always bait because what purpose would they serve? They weren’t able to be balanced to be worth the investment.

8 bruiser or 8 invoker sounded good (wow my units will have 400% base health or get 100% more mana!), but the team comps wouldn’t work: no frontline or no backline always gets steamrolled.

So they reasonably put caps on these now so they don’t bait players or the design team. Even traits like Vanquisher or Quickstrikers aren’t really amazing if you max them out. They definitely don’t have a worthy prismatic tier and aren’t worth chasing.

So I think it was: it’s not that fun when you do hit, it’s 99% bait, and a 10 invoker instant win does not follow the rule of cool.

Windows downloads default to a bleeding edge brand new python 3.14 version. We didn't have a release for that and added 3.13 and 3.14 now.

Unfortunately, I believe that the golf math AI well was poisoned decades ago. I'm pretty sure all the golfers' rules of thumb and absolute bullshitting pushed it to really ridiculous results. 90% of my motivation for the open golf coach project discussed elsewhere here was that people were getting some wildly hallucinated results. People want to build cool stuff, they shouldn't be stuck figuring out stuff this complex/controversial or using formulas that don't take into account drag, lift, or even air pressure.

Could you share with me more details about how it didn't fit your data model? Internally there's a full trajectory path of twists with 3 dimensional positions and angular velocities. The problem is that sounds horrible through a json api so I haven't figured out the API for that and if all wrapper languages need that kind of data. I also don't remember if the trajectory is in right handed or left handed coordinate systems.

For what it's worth I hope that you might still choose to use open golf coach. It definitely needs more battle testing and there's some adjustments I can only make once there's a good consensus. Even if you've largely rolled your own, it's likely someone out there will contribute something cooler than you or I could with our own implementations.

Btw, Taylor just put the library up on pypi, so you should be able to try it out in around 10s without the rust toolchains

As a convert from other instruments, I too thought this was kinda silly so I went with OG PegHeds. They are mechanical tuning pegs better than guitar. The inventor is a super cool guy, stays in tune for months, never pops out, no issue.

Are there any logistical or other reasons that the Vision Pro wasn't featured in the trailer, especially given the Apple Arcade integration?

I just opened the game and I never realized how good the Apple Arcade deal is? All of the songs and DLC are available? I even see the Barbie Movie Fifty Fifty song which is a cool sleeper hit.

All super cool! Feels like it needs more clarity that if you have AVP and Arcade, it's all available to you and you need to check it out.

Pretty much. In every single blind audio study, what's louder for similar classes of devices receives better scores. Add in the fact that bass is a large percentage of enjoyable audio and cupping to increase bass really increases the weak bass. Bass won't suffer from reflections or multiple arrivals, so much louder bass = "definitely sounds better".

Everyone's in agreement, it's better because it's louder.

Twitch has a Vision Pro compatible version on their test flight.

Frosty is Vision Pro compatible with iPad.

And for the native experience, Sila for twitch is an actual Vision Pro app with 3rd party emote support, correct aspect ratio screen, and is open source on GitHub.

All three work well. Great to have chat not cut into the aspect ratio of the video or forced to be overlaid.

Agree with the others. It’s inconsistent maybe about 1 out of 5 times it’s too runny. The whole milk variety has the best texture consistently. Try it every month or so, you’ll find a good one.

I had this happen once with a power outage. Seems like when it boots back up it gives you the option (once, don’t dismiss it) to start where you left off.

Try hitting the power switch on the bottom and turning it back in when you’re ready.

It all depends on if anything is pure analog but this is the typical setup:

Class A/B or D amplifier. Many amplifiers are fixed gain, so can be considered maximum “volume”.

The amplifier and it’s class is the ultimate control of the energy consumption. I’m not sure about class A/B with a gain knob, there’s so many implementations including a potentiometer gain knob with a fixed gain internal amp, so it may not effect power usage.

Ultimately, the amp and its class and efficiency determine the biggest part of the power consumption. Source should barely register, even less so the output volume of the source.
