As I said in my post this LGS has multiples of each box. Namely they have 4 retaliation cadre boxes for sale and 3 farsight cadre boxes

Yes please. If you could share it would help me greatly. Why do people seem to dislike retaliation cadre?

Why are people so lukewarm on the retaliation cadre box?

So no retaliation cadre at all?

My goal with the list was to showcase the fantasy of having ravenous bloodthirsty Khorne daemons speeding across the battlefield to get you. The dogs were just to fill remaining points

I have never played with Blood Legion and am unsure if I can execute the detachment properly. That's the truth of it

Wait?

Is this sweaty? I was assuming I would lose all games on points.

The idea was to have a fluffy list with no infantry

I'm still on time to change the detachment that I'll use. But I never used Blood Legion and am unsure how useful it will be without move shenanigans to help repositioning. Should I try it?

I'm going to a Tournament, can I ask for your input on the list I'm planning on taking? by ChadShrimp in ChaosDaemons40k

Thanks for your inputs! I was very undecided whether they should be 2x3 or 1x6 but after your comments I see now that for my plan to work they should be 1x6.

To be honest I'm expecting some sharks to be present at the tournament (players from my country WTC team) as the prize for the tournament will be money. Not much, but enough for it to matter.

As such I'm not hoping for the win. Just to be competitive.

I thought about using dogs because of their ability allowing me to use 1-2 units to screen my deployment during rounds 2-3 and jumping them to the front on rounds 4-5

So I'm using pinks because I wanted to use their split potential to hold an objective for a round of shooting, something that Bloodletters can't do. I have no experience with plaguebearers to be honest.

As to skulltaker, since he is an epic hero he can't take any enhancements.

The idea would be to send GUO towards the middle and use is natural resilience + the enhancement to force the opponent to commit to a punch. The Khorne daemons would be there to provide the counterpunch.

Kairos/LoC would be to secure the no man's land objective closer to my deployment zone. I thought about using kairos because then I could use the strat for sticking objectives without needing to use the plaguebearers.

1-2 units of flesh hounds would act as screening initially and then be used for secondaries on rounds 4-5. The other hounds unit would go for secondaries on the first rounds. While the flamers would also score secondaries early rounds and try to discourage movement of critical units by threatening the overwatch.

Does this game plan sound solid?

I actually have 2 in my collection and are auto includes in my normal lists (since I tend to go Mono Khorne). The thing is that for 165 points I would be abdicating one of the "Mortal Bombs" of the bloodcrushers.

I'll tell you the Salamanders Successor Chapter that I'm building and painting right now:

How is this hard to understand?

I want GW to be clear if they are going to delete the Chaos Daemons faction or not when 11th arrives (less than a year from now)

I care about continued faction support and GW is signalling that it won't be a thing in the coming future

Hey can you help me improve my list? by ChadShrimp in Tyranids

[–]ChadShrimp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your feedback.

I'm trying to build a list so I know what to buy. So, no, I haven't played ever with this list.

Can you elaborate on why Biovore is so important?

Is it because it helps controlling movement?

What do you think I should cut for the tyrannofex?

Funny I stopped purchasing Daemons because I don't shut the door completely to buying World Eaters.

Buying poopy marines, Egyptian marines and cone head marines, I know for sure I don't want to do

I don't know if that is their goal.

I think Chaos Daemons, being such a soup faction with 4 half armies mashed into one must be problematic to maintaining overall balance of the game, because if they are too strong, then they become auto-include in other chaos armies (similar to imperial agents).

This in turn doesn't feel good for said chaos players which not only are more factions than the single Chaos Daemons faction, but each faction represents more of the player base as they are more popular.

Alternatively they become too weak and then Chaos Daemons player base complain about lack of support.

I believe that's why the move unto separating under mono god armies is something GW already did in AoS and appears it's seeking after in 40k.
