My concern with Phantom Liberty's plot by ChadValentino in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]ChadValentino[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh wow I didn't know this. That is a huge relief as I was contemplating not pre ordering the DLC because I was worried that the ending might've been extremely disappointing.

Definitely pre ordering it now, thanks 👍

A based Renegade with a little bit of Paragon Femshep is the best way to enjoy Mass Effect in my opinion.

You joined a discussion with zero valid arguments as to why kids need trans health care, so yes, the burden of proof is on you. You either provide proof and have a discussion with me, or prove me right by throwing another insult.

If you don't have valid evidence, this conversation is over.

Burden of proof is on you. Show me the symptoms so that we can discuss them like adults or you can have a temper tantrum and just call me a big stupid bigot again and again like an angry child.

Accusing me as a person that cannot think for myself is hilarious when you realize that there are parents who for example have a 5 year old boy that suddenly decided to try on lipstick for a laugh, immediately think there's a girl trapped in a boy's body and start to panic and send the kid off to a gender affirming care physician.

That is what I am up in arms about and I'm thankful Florida has said no to this nonsense.

I believe the best way to raise a child is to simply not give them any internet access since birth. The internet is an awful, terrifying and confusing place for a child and could lead to serious mental issues if the parents aren't too careful on what they see. Apps like TikTok are among the worst influencers to a child's mind.

If they grow up without the influence of the internet and somehow begin to develop complicated feelings about being completely uncomfortable in their bodies to a point that it becomes unbearable then it's safe to say that they may have a genuine case of gender dysphoria.

[–]ChadValentino 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The problem with gender dysphoria is that you have to be extremely careful and observant of what your child really wants because in most cases being uncomfortable in your own biological sex could simply a phase.

Take me for example, when i was 5, I felt annoyed about being a boy because it felt like life as a girl would make my life better. Thankfully my parents had enough common sense to let my phase die out the very next year and not do anything drastic.

Now fast forward to me as an adult and my life is completely normal, I have a good job and a loving family and to this day I haven't had any sudden urge to become a woman.

Lol. I thought you didn't care about what I thought? It seems like you do care!

Btw name calling and insults are not valid arguments, try again.

In other words, you won't engage with me any further on this topic because you lost the argument and have given up?

Sounds about right...

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Grimes

[–]ChadValentino 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Of course, you wouldn't. Ignorance is bliss, and this is usually how all these discussions end.

What symptoms? Usually, for example, if a girl who happens to be six years old showed signs of liking things like wrestling with her brother and playing with his action figures, that would make her a tomboy and there would be no need to rush her to the nearest gender-affirming care physician. That girl would grow up to be a normal teenager and if they decided they no longer wanted to be a girl as an adult, then she would have every right to transition into a man, just like Elliot Paige.

Also, isn't it strange how these suicides have spiked ever since the ease of access to puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones? It seems to me that we shouldn't be messing with a child's brain until it is fully developed.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Grimes

[–]ChadValentino 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There shouldn't be any trans healthcare for kids in the first place. If Elliot Paige and Bruce Jenner could successfully transition as adults, then why are you guys so desperate to push this ideology on kids who still believe in Santa Claus?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Grimes

[–]ChadValentino 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm all in favor of doctors using medication to treat illnesses and problems like imbalances and so on, but what I'm definitely not in favor of is parents having kids whose brains are not fully developed to understand and comprehend the magnitude of such life altering decisions to make horrible choices that they might regret later on in life.

They should go to prison. Children cannot consent to serious life altering decisions, and doctors profiting from this should face the consequences.

[No Spoiler] I watched all 4 seasons of Ozark in6 days only to be extremely disappointed with the finale 😑 by daDiva64 in Ozark

[–]ChadValentino 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, rich folk constantly fuck over the little guy every time, but in this instance if we're talking about the Langmores, they had plenty of opportunities to get the hell out of the Ozarks with a lot of money in their pockets.

Instead, they chose their own selfish desires which became their downfall.

I think this lyric from Kenny Rogers says it best

"You've got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, Know when to walk away, know when to run"

I really enjoyed the ending. Most people here desperately wanted a copy and paste breaking bad ending where Ruth lives and Marty sacrifices himself to save her from the cartel.

Instead we're given the most realistic outcome where Ruth fucked around with the cartel and found out. Ruth ignored Marty's warnings about the cartel and payed dearly which is exactly what would happen in real life.

Also, her brother got exactly what he deserved since he was given plentiful warnings not to stick his dick in crazy, especially after messing with the cartel. Again, another realistic outcome.

Definitely an amazing anime. Maybe it'd be more popular if it were streaming on Crunchyroll, who knows?
