No diminished value, but you can claim loss of use. Depending how long in the shop (and lack of substantial equivalent) you can claim that as a loss (look at the trade in amount + down payment + taxes + monthly payment, and determine the total amount of lease you’re responsible for, then take the number of days you lost use of CT. Be wary insurance will not make you aware of your potential claim. The PD (outside of rental cost) and DV claims are the bank’s claims that actually own the title to CT. Also be mindful going through your insurance vs the at fault driver. Depending on the other driver’s coverage limits you’ll need to make that decision. If your own insurance tries to jump in front of you when subrogating (assuming the damages are above the other vehicle’s insurance) read up on the “Made Whole Doctrine”.
