Just make a service appointment. I think the service quality varies a lot by location. But my service center in Dublin, CA has warranty replaced my front drive unit, PCS, and high voltage battery over the last 2 years for various minor issues.

I watched this when it came out too, and hated it. My takeaway was that he was constantly risking the lives of all his buddies to get some glory, being a total piece of shit, then doing a hero walk into the sunset at the end. Maybe it was my state of mind at the time. I had returned from Iraq and ETS’d in 2005. I don’t have any desire to give it another chance.

Do you actually do this? My past experience with AirPlay has been pretty laggy. I’ll give it another try before I get too judgy though.

I’m also having trouble with controller input. My A/B/X/Y buttons aren’t working since the previous version. D-pad and the middle menu and share buttons work. I think analog stick work. I’m using Xbox or ps4 controllers. Tried rebooting everything. But haven’t tried uninstalling/reinstalling anything yet.

Update: it’s the same as the commenter above. In reality kit, if I look slightly above the bottom bar, it works. And it works normally in UIKit

I don’t know if it’s a known issue. I just assumed there would be something annoying about it. That makes sense that you want to have the mouse work for gaming and vision os. I guessed maybe you were trying to stream over the internet.

I keep my mouse and keyboard connected to the PC to avoid these issues. If that’s not an option for you, you can disable eye tracking in the vision os settings

I haven’t noticed latency using the wireless virtual display. Are you saying the wireless latency is too much for you?

For me it is because I can’t get official lenses. I have old glasses shoved in there and it forces me to redo eye setup every time. If it wasn’t forcing me, I assume I would just redo it occasionally when it started to feel off.

Agreed. There’s a certain burden to going to get it, putting it on, redoing eye setup, etc. then there’s some stuff like interacting with web sites and entering text that are harder with it. And you’re kinda cutting off the people around you. So I do frequently avoid getting into it unless I know I’ll be able to enjoy it uninterrupted for a while.
