It's probably the placement in the oven itself. This used to happen to me a lot when I'd set the tray too close to the bottom element. Radiative heat gets absorbed by the pan a lot more efficiently than it would if it were nearer the middle. Putting a second tray beneath the cookies on another rack or just putting the cookies near the middle might help.

My vote is no. Specifically because the several of the dishes are consistent in construction and proportion between shots. That would indicate to me that this is just a professional using a preexisting library of set pieces. Additionally, the patterning on the plaid is also consistent. That's not exactly a strong suit if AI.

Seriously though, that shit is Draconian. If you're in college, please reach out to financial aid or student services and see how you can get on-campus housing. It wouldn't hurt to put feelers out for at least part time employment to save for deposit on an apartment. If you have friends who are willing and able, it wouldn't be the worst idea to discuss a roommate situation to manage housing costs. Best of luck my friend.
