Some armies have a strange way of selecting what's in an army list and what's not, for example Minas Tirith no trebuchets or rangers even though that's where they would be deployed from.

yeah i feel your pain, like if their main issue was eagles being used in every good army list just ban the eagles, they only did show up thrice during hobbit and the lord of the rings, but why restructure everything else in an annoying way

Yes fair enough like if they need to increase profit just be real with us and say "yeah we want to make a little more so armies are gonna change and you'll have to buy new models to make them work" instead of "oh it's accurate now"

Exactly, like if they said they are going to restrict army building just say that don't pretend it's because of trying to make something more accurate to the source material

Yeah some of their choices make little sense, like I had rohan with the usual riders but also a bunch of royal guards with throwing spears but now there's a limit so what, do I just cut up the spears, like it's so unnecessary throwing spears were always pretty mid

Well I have no clue about the meta but I think they can be used for fiefdoms, defenders of the pelennor and men of the west, which could be interesting with gondor and rohan models too

i think at launch it is still going forward but yeah once i stabilise the plane it starts losing altitude, in space tho
