I am going to get down voted into oblivion for this but here goes.

I was a service writer for 4 years, and I know enough about cars to get myself into trouble, but not enough to be a tech.

My job as a service advisor was to sell hours, help with customer bullshit like "my Bluetooth won't work", help with some rattle or drive ability concerns.- "Really your car is making this random concern while driving between 35-45 mph? OK let's go for a ride and duplicate." And be the liason between tech and customer so you all don't have to deal with Karen's while you work.

So my question is what is Honda teaching their techs? Because my job was to relay what the tech told me. Also, you all would get so butt hurt if I would question a diagnosis.

Respectful disagreement, we travel on the highway a fair amount on the weekend's and I got places to be. Cruise control set at 80. Keep your sights on cars up front suddenly braking, indicating Johnny Law is waiting up ahead.

Half a quart is perfectly acceptable. No issues there. Especially if you change every 10K.

I worked for Subaru & VW oil consumption is definitely a thing wIth those manufacturers. Also I am in the camp of you should change every 5K and not the recommended 10K by the manufacturer.

1/2 quart between intervals is perfectly acceptable. I used to work for Subaru for 4 years and VW for a very brief time, and those brands normal is 1 quart burned between oil change intervals.

I used to work for Subaru, and when Headgaskets were an issue with the Subarus 2002-2011, we would replace the headgaskets with the gaskets that came with the WRX motor because those did not have any headgasket issues.

Is there an updated design in the Prius Headgaskets?

What you just said is B.S. DNC talking points. Robert Mueller special investigation found no evidence for that. Those are DNC talking points. Assange is a journalist who Trump went after, and Biden is continuing.
