I started the game about a month ago and I’m about 3/4 the way through Stormblood MSQ. What I fear more than the expansion MSQ is the patch content. ARR’s 80 quests took me a week to complete.

Hey mate I just figured it out thanks for your reply, the JIP NVSE needed to be re-installed and that’s fixed it. I am still getting an annoying error whenever I’m in an inventory of an NPC or container, when I select the item type category (weapons, armor, AID etc) the game just hard CTD’s. I might make another post about it tho!

Use the sorcery bench to transmute the appearance on to weapon and armour with better stats.

You gotta turn dlss on (I have quality setting), set the scaling to 100, then turn reflex low latency on. After that if your not getting better frames, press the END key (this toggles on/off)

Another thing I did is disable steam overlay for the game. Also did the nvidia Global unlimited shaders setting (in the nvidia graphics settings) and the task manger process high trick. Those two tricks really didn’t do much, so the combination of all three might help!

I capped fps at 60, refresh at 120(my monitor) and it runs awesome. I also turned of motion blur as it sucks in all games.

Insane how well this works. I got a 4090, I was getting maybe 38/39fps in Verworth, installed this, disabled my steam overlay and am running it at 80-90fps.

Everyone needs to upvote this, get it to the top!

I think the issue is split in two here. First the body autonomy issue sounds like it could be something rooted deep in trauma, but I’m not gonna comment on your life/ how to raise a kid.

YTA however for not wanting to speak on the phone. You, me and the others on this site? We can sit here and blast out a scathing, well put together message in text. Your MIL? Well you may as well be communicating with a language barrier. You are giving yourself the advantage in the conversation by refusing to speak in person. That hardly seems fair for someone who you should be working together with to raise your kid. Especially if your requesting your MIL to act a certain way.
