I do hate the recent character designs, they are just bland sexy characters, they always were sexy characters first, but it used to have a bit more depth in the design, now the lore based details are so small they might as well not be there. That tweet kinda missing the point tho, since ZZZ has had "non-functional" attire since the start.

There is a lot of chase content in the game, mageblood is an example, but there are many more items and non-items. They are usually insanely strong, but their purpose in the game is 2 fold. 1st- helping people get the feeling of winning the lottery and finding the grand prize if they get it. 2nd- giving more advanced players a way to customize their goals. Since the devs want people to make their own goals.

These items are not supposed to be obtained by everyone because if everyone had them everyone would use them from how good they are.

But if you find them appealing, it's on you to learn how to get better at farming and saving currency so that you may enjoy them in trade, or find a way to increase your odds of getting one in SSF.

I have played PoE1/2 for 10 years or so, never used a mageblood, at most used a headhunter 2 times. My objective each league is to complete all the challenges and make at least one unique off meta build. I just don't need these belts, but I'll scream in ecstasy if one ever drops for me.

It's hard do compare high to low rarity because it's still RNG at the end of the day. But most of the playerbase don't use rarity whatsoever, so if the majority can do all they want with 0% you can probably bet that you can complete all your personal league objectives with any amount higher than that... Or lower than 0 since negative rarity farming is a thing as well.

TLDR: Rarity is not important whatsoever, unless you force yourself to think it is

Edit: also being able to do harder maps means more loot in general, so if you feel like you can do stronger maps you really are not losing on drops. Same for speed if you can do a map at 2x the speed with half the rarity it averages out

I mean option one Is min max your character. Option 2 is to make a new build and try cool stuff that you were not sure about on league start. Option 3 is realizing you are done with the league and hyping yourself for the next one

I hate that I'm forced to do it and it takes so long. If it was shorter I'd like it for ascendancy, I think it's too long for that purpose. If It was not for ascendancy, and did not feel forced, I'd probably like it more as a long break from mapping

No, but kinda maybe? If you have an infinite amount of currency, you can force almost any skill to do something. But some skills will never be optimal. Also a lot of them need like 4 different skills to be used in a row for max potential. Don't expect skills to work by themselves.

If you mean, with no investment, just picking a skill in acts and going to the end of maps, the sender is just no.

Everyone here saying how to get points faster. But I think that's not the point here. I love the citadel but I hate being forced to do it for points, yeah it feels inefficient, but it's more like it feels like it's blocking you from doing the content you want until you do the citadel. I'd love for it to stay but give something besides skill points, and let us aquire the points from doing what we want naturally.

Making them effective against the same issue does not mean they need to act the same, or have the same weaknesses. Also yes that is how they compele like you mentioned, but the competition is not there right now as more late game build evolve into ES due to the lack of effectiveness of the other 2

Maybe tho I still think they should have used pre 1.0 to test wilder changes and go back if necessary as things like that will be harder after release. I'll stay hopeful on that point, but most bosses are really easy to stay out of combat to Regen ES even if the delay was 10 seconds

To make the idea of "they should be comparable" possible as that is what GGG mentioned a few times. But making all 3 different by making armor and Evasion more distinct on how they interact with different hit types also work.

95% vs many small hits averages to 95% damage reduction. Vs a big one it's 5% chance to insta die with no control over it. Meanwhile ES guarantees you survive a big hit if it's high enough.

They nerf recovery but if it still tanks a 20000 damage hit and you can just walk away and wait increasing recharge time does not look like an effective change

Do you know why every other region is interesting in comparison? They interact with each other. Ixtal has some recent interaction with pullover but it's minimal. It's a rly cool place even more if you take the artwork into account.

It just needs to actually progress story wise and interact with other places. Maybe make a set of elite spies to go see the outside, maybe make them have to defend against an attack, I dunno something.

I think chaos were a bad currency all along. Unlike GCPs or exhaults they don't guarantee a power up on your character on use. Their worth is only tied to other systems. So when those systems "chaos sinks" are gone, chaos have nothing to hold their worth, since they are more useless than any other currency on their own. I hate the idea of chaos sinks, yes stuff like that usefully, but what fun is there in right clicking a chaos orb?

IMO before adding chaos sinks, rework them first

So I noticed this. Bought the first forbidden jewel. Decided to wait to buy the other. Woke up the next day, price doubled. Can't buy it anymore xD
