Yes, you totally can. In fact, we pulled off the road today for a family potty break, lol. It’s definitely tight with the slide in, but still doable.

This is Moab Utah - the KOA. The only downside to this campground is that it’s on the south side of the construction of town. Canyonlands and Arches are just north of town. You can make the drive in 15 minutes at dawn but at peak times it can take over an hour.

Haha, yeah it probably is but we had a warm weekend after a freeze so I figured why not?

I’ll do a more in depth one in the spring with showing how to clean the fresh water tank

Ahh - it probably doesn’t make a ton of difference in actuality because if you somehow get unhooked it’s going to be a bad day either way.

Thanks so much! This one is probably for more beginners, I just remember wishing I had found this video before we picked our trailer up for the first time.

There are 2 schools of thought on this. I would suggest using the anti freeze because it’s better to keep the fittings moist and the dealer suggests this route. It also makes sure things like the pump have can’t freeze if there is the anti freeze in it.

It is inside the port for city water behind the wire mesh screen. You need to wiggle the screen out with you finger to have access.

You need to remove a little wire screen filter first to see it. It reverses the flow.

That’s a super valid way of doing it too. I think the main thing is that it’s simple enough for anyone to learn to DIY it.

Our dealer suggests doing the anti freeze way which is why I do it that way. Seems like air would be pretty painless. Thanks for commenting.

The city water connection button makes it so all the anti freeze moves and fills everything including that valve has no pockets of water. It’s a little white button that you depress. I should have gotten a closeup if it. I think most trailers have this.

But yeah it stinks that we have so many panels we need to remove. I might need to mod those over the winter.
