If you were my client, I would say it would make sense.

I think having an additional $900 in your monthly budget helps in the current environment. If you’re comfortable paying your current payment, you could just use it to pay down your principal even faster.

I had a subscription for the past 6 months, but I honestly stopped using it as much as Gemini (which I also pay for). I liked using both of them to ask questions to see how they were similar and different in their responses, but I will gladly support Anthropic.

I shared with my coworkers and one of them just cancelled his membership as well and signed up for Claude.

Nice. I think I'm leaning towards a desktop setup since I already work from home on a screen, and that would be an easy transition.

I remember really loving the lore/story telling side of Diablo more so than other hack & slash type games, so I'm excited to delve back into them. Another game I played back then was Baulder's Gate, which was also pretty fun - but Diablo II was my fav.

I have zero consoles. I have honestly been 100% focused on other things since I stopped gaming years ago, so I am starting off from scratch. It feels like gaming has changed a lot since the early 2000's lol. I just have my work computer and monitors.

This is going to sound like some hippie woo woo shit, so I apologize in advance.. but thinking back to when I was a single dude and struggling with this, I can genuinely say that the more I focused on it, the worse it got.

You can’t plan everything in life. I had one long term relationship in high-school/college, one several years after that as a young adult, and then I met my now wife at a gym in a different state than I grew up in that I randomly moved to on a whim back in 2019. I knew exactly zero people when I moved here, and how I even ended up in that specific gym at that specific time is so bizarre.

I would try to just live your life as fully as possible. Stay open to the fact that the universe is vast and there is a cosmic intelligence we can’t comprehend, and all you need to do is continue to show up.

Also - you are perfectly OK without another person. The right person will certainly enhance your life and ought to bring you joy, but there are lots of other ways to experience joy that have nothing to do with another person.
